When people hear FLLoCA there is a tendency to see the financial aspect alone. The Project proposed by Malewa West Ward in Gilgil Subcounty was designed to build the community's resilience by:

Reducing water stress in the face of prolonged droughts

Promoting clean energy, cutting reliance on fossil fuels and electricity-associated costs

Improving health & livelihoods through better water access

Expand access with a planned extension to Nyondia Centre and its residents from far and wide

This Greenvalley Borehole Water Project is nearing completion, set to provide 1,200 residents with a reliable and sustainable source of clean water, thanks to the WCCPC, Environment officers Gilgil, Ward Admin Malewa West, the CCU-Nakuru, the Nakuru County Government - Official and Financing Locally-Led Climate Action Program, Kenya for walking with us in this journey.
