Hi members. It is of great important to let you know that heavy rain begun two days ago and we have been expiriencing large flow of water in our feeder roads due to surface run off. As they pile up they cause soil erosion as you can see in pictures here. In the second picture you might think it is an upcoming water fall but is excess erosions on roads. Try the best you can to build good terases where necessary to avoid loosing your natural nutrients in your land. Thanks and hope you are going to do so.

This is a old mama called Tapletgo fetching water in a small spring called chepkutbei belonging to Arap Tereisi. The old mama told me she started queing up from 11am and i was there at 17:00 hrs, she further says that if she could have a donkey , she could have gone to Kapoogi spring which is about 8km from her home. On the other hand Kapoogi spring is serving 8km sq. So she couldn't make it still due to high quee. Now the issue is lack of sustainable water around the area. This area including kang'irin, sirinik, and Irigat deserves water drill to make their life better rather than walking for water issue on day to day life. Mama lets pray God to give us an opening for water drill around your area.

This is A tributary of Engare Ngiito River known as Sukutek ( Salt lick river) River originating from Esinoni area. This river has a poor river riparian protection, as WRUA members and non members, lets work hand in hand to bring back its natural state.
