We recently lost Mzee Ledipen Ntanai Leaduma. Age 105. A respected elder of the Lkimaniki age set.

He was more than the last surviving son of Loiboni Kaldojan Leaduma. He was the last eye-witness to the Kingโ€™s arrest.

In 1934, as a boy, he watched British colonial officers arrest his father after he resisted colonial rule. Governor Byrne deported Oloiboni Leaduma to Kwale under the Witchcraft Ordinance, using the death of Theodore Powys as the excuse. Evidence showed Powys was killed by a lion. The real crime was defiance.

The King was taken to an unknown destination. He died in exile. To this day, the British government has not disclosed his burial site. His family has waited 90 years for that truth.

Ledipen Ntanai carried that injustice to his last breath. He was laid to rest last month at his Nkopiliani farm after passing from complications related to old age.

He left 3 wives, 20 children, 80 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren. And a question: Will his grandchildren have to wait another 105 years for justice?

So today we say THANK YOU to everyone refusing to let this die with him:
To Anthony Leaduma and the Leaduma family who petitioned the British High Commission in Nairobi.
To Col. Rtd Leiyagu of the Samburu Council of Elders who stood with them.
To the Samburu Development Forum and Maa Museum & Centre for Indigenous Cultures.
To Sam ole Nangiria of PALCA,The Living Cultures, TZ, for standing with Maa communities across borders.
To the legal teams using the 2012 Mau Mau reparations case as precedent.
To every Kenyan who raised this during King Charles IIIโ€™s visit and every day after.

The demands remain, based on truth and mutual respect:
1.๐——๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—น๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ: Where is Oloiboni Leaduma buried in Kwale?
2. ๐—”๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ด๐˜†: A formal apology from the British government for the unlawful arrest and deportation.
3. ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€: For the loss, the fines, the disarmament, and the dismantling of Samburu leadership.

5. ๐—ฅ๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ด๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป: Of Oloiboni Leaduma as a hero of Samburu resistance.

Ledipen Ntanai was the last to see the King alive and free. We are the generation that can bring the King justice.

Share his fatherโ€™s story. Tag the British High Commission Nairobi. Demand answers before the last memory fades.

Rest in power, Mzee Ledipen. The fight is ours now.
The Samburu remember. Kenya remembers.

๐—ฆ๐—ฃ๐—˜๐—”๐—ž ๐—Ÿ๐—œ๐—™๐—˜

Yesterdayโ€™s Sunday Service at Global Cathedral Church was truly impactful and left me with a lot to reflect on.
Pastor Joshua preached the message, drawn from Isaiah 65:20โ€“21, Genesis 6:3, and Isaiah 23:18. He articulated the verses, without even referring to the Bible, it was amazing.
The message reminded us that life is a precious gift: one meant to be lived fully, purposefully, and with intention. Those verses clearly say we shall live for 120 years. It highlighted how everything we have and do should ultimately reflect and honor God.

But what stood out most for me was the message on having a positive attitude.
We were challenged to be mindful of the words we speak over our lives. Sometimes, without realizing it, we speak negatively, especially about our health, our struggles, or our situations. And over time, those words begin to shape how we feel and what we believe.

The reminder was simple but powerful: ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ธ ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ฒ.
Instead of declaring weakness or sickness, choose to speak strength, healing, and faith, even when itโ€™s not easy.

Itโ€™s not about ignoring reality, but about choosing faith over fear and trusting Godโ€™s promises above what we see or feel.

A timely reminder to guard our words, stay positive, and live each day with purpose.

On 10th August 1992, President Daniel Arap Moi addressed a Maasai delegation led by Hon. William ole Ntimama to State House. He opened with: โ€œI love peace and I love children.โ€

From that conviction came Maziwa ya Nyayo - free milk in schools for every child, regardless of tribe or background. It was more than nutrition. It was a message that Kenyaโ€™s strength lies in its diversity, and that no child would be left behind.

He reaffirmed his commitment to lead the nation in harmony across all communities. He urged every Kenyan to uphold peace and work together, because lasting development can only grow in an environment of mutual respect, cooperation, and unity.

That speech reminded Kenyans: safeguarding the nationโ€™s future starts with caring for its children and standing together as one people.

At the Global Cathedral Church, I received a message that demanded deep reflection as a leader.

We are living testimonies that Godโ€™s seed within us overcomes every force of darkness. The fact that we are here today proves what was meant to destroy us did not succeed.

I was reminded: where God has placed you is not by chance, you are Godโ€™s strategy!!. Every position, season, and challenge is part of a divine plan already working ahead of you.

God is pulling a new strategy your enemies cannot see. Nothing is wasted. Every delay, every struggle is being aligned for His purpose.

Your needs already have provision. May you come into contact with your solution in Jesusโ€™ name. May favor speak for you where you cannot, and may God cause people to go the extra mile for your blessing.

Do not bow to temporary or fleshly ideas. Stand firm in faith, Godโ€™s time to reward your faith is near.

You would have been a statistic, but God turned the tables in your favor. Stand tall for God's time is nigh.. Say I will do it! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ช

Time. Tables. Transfer. All working for you๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

In 1965, in the formative years after independence, Kenyaโ€™s first President, Jomo Kenyatta, delivered a defining address to the people of Narok County; one that captured the vision for a united, progressive nation.

At a time when Kenya was still forging its identity, he stressed that peace and national cohesion were the foundation for sustainable development. His message was clear: without unity, the promise of independence could not be fully realized.

He also placed deliberate emphasis on education, urging the Maasai community to embrace formal learning and skills development. He understood that empowering communities through education was key to inclusive nation-building and long-term socio-economic advancement.

That address remains a defining reflection of early post-independence leadership, anchored in peace, inclusion, and the transformative power of education.
