One of the main ways to increase own revenue collection in counties is by targeting Customers(People that promotes your brand). Narok County targets to collect an estimated amount of 4.5Billion from it's own revenue collection. Today our team focused on bus terminus (Matatu drivers and Stalls)

Our operation team visited the the terminus to check on Parking Cess,Matatu stickers and Stalls rents as a way to supervise and interact with both the collectors and customers. Work supervision mainly helps in promoting effective staff care,monitoring and managing workload - including work planning and the use of time,providing support and guidance on individual cases/projects,discussing any personal issues which may be impacting on the individual's performance at work.

The main importance of trainings are to Strengthen staffs and help them understand the basic tenets of revenue administration with a focus on unlocking the revenue potential of our county.

Today our revenue team took an initiative to train the recently employed Trade, Clerical and Enforcement Officers on the use of the POS system, This system is one that;accepts payments and provides receipts instantly hence making revenue collection process easier and efficient.

The team had an Interactive and comprehensive session that also majored on Ethical behaviour and Customer handling.

Today H.E Gorvenor Patrick Keturet Ole Ntutu paid a visit to the Narok County Revenue Bank in preparation for its official launch tomorrow.

Narok County Revenue Bank Will Offer a wide range of services ranging from;
Business permits, rates clearance certificates, rent clearances, Liquor licenses, stickers, Building approvals, Health clearance and any other payments made to the county.
He was accompanied by Narok County Deputy Gorvenor H.E Tamalinye Koech, County Secretary Mayiani Tuya and other dignitaries. The team was hosted by the Whole Finance and Economic Planning department led by CECM David muntet, Chief Officer Mike Naingisa and a number of Sub-County revenue officers.
