Aberdare National Park is one of the best places in East Africa to spot the Giant Forest Hog (๐˜๐˜บ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ค๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ถ๐˜ด ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ต๐˜ป๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜จ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ช).

As Africa's largest wild pig, the Giant Forest Hog is easy to recognize by its large body, dark bristly coat, and broad face. Unlike warthogs that prefer open grasslands, these shy animals live in Aberdare's cool forests and moorlands.

On your next game drive, keep an eye out near open glades and waterholes, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. You might be lucky enough to spot one.
