CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF RT. HON. RAILA AMOLO ODINGA

The Reformed Patriotic Democrats (REPA) joins Kenyans and the international community in mourning the passing of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, a true statesman, patriot and champion of democracy.

Raila Odinga’s contribution to Kenya’s political and social transformation is immeasurable. His courage in the face of adversity, his unwavering belief in justice, and his lifelong dedication to a fair and united Kenya have left an indelible mark on our nation’s history.

As REPA, we celebrate his legacy of leadership, resilience and visionary values that continue to inspire our commitment to servant leadership and national unity.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, the people of Kenya and members of the Orange Democratic Movement. May the Almighty grant them strength and comfort during this difficult time.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Earlier today , history was written as we officially received our Certificate of Provisional Registration from the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties ORPPKenya, pursuant to Section 5(2)(b) of the Political Parties Act, Cap. 7D.

This moment marks the official recognition of REPA as a political party committed to securing our future through transformative leadership, youth-driven empowerment and inclusive governance.

The ceremony, attended by our founding members, reaffirmed REPA’s unwavering commitment to values of accountability, inclusivity, innovation, and people-driven leadership.

The ceremony held at the ORPP Headquarters, Nairobi, was graced by the Registrar of Political Parties, Madam Sophia Sitati and Assistant Registrar, Registration and Field Service, CPA Florence Birya alongside other distinguished Heads of Department. Their presence underscored the importance of REPA’s entry into the national democratic space.

We were privileged, represented by Florence Nzisa to attend a three-day women in politics training sponsored by theoslocenter supported by Christian Democratic International Center

The training was specifically designed for elected and aspiring women in political leadership to enhance skills and fulfil their ambitions for transformative leadership.

During the training, they were equipped with strategic skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to conduct competitive, value-driven campaigns.By engaging in knowledge sharing,interactive sessions and hands-on exercises, the program will help establish solid foundations for women leaders who aspire not only to hold office but also to reshape their communities, challenge inequality and inspire the next generation of women in politics.
