I wish to extend my sincere appreciation to each and everyone of you, all the teams that took part in the HILAC Tournament which I proudly sponsored! Your participation, commitment and competitive spirit made the tournament a true success.

It was indeed colourfull!

Special congratulations goes to the champions Manteno FC and the runners-up Taleno FC for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship!

I commend all teams for the exceptional display of talent, discipline, unity and professionalism throughout the tournament.

You have indeed carried yourselives in ways never seen before!

You proved that our youth are gifted, focused and capable of greatness when given the right platform.

My heartfelt appreciation also goes to the organizing committee whose dedication and tireless efforts over the past two weeks ensured the tournament ran smoothly up to its successful conclusion today. Your leadership and coordination were exemplary.

To our youth, I urge you to continue choosing the path of discipline, unity and hard work. Let us all say NO TO DRUGS and other social vices and instead embrace SPORTS, talent development and positive living as we face the future together with purpose and HOPE!

I also thank the fans of all teams and the host community for their overwhelming support, hospitality and peaceful coexistence throughout the tournament.

Taleno FC Edges Out Arba Star in a Hillac Tournament Thriller!
The drama reached new heights in Arbajahan as the second match of the Hillac Tournament delivered pure footballing magic. Taleno FC officially punched their ticket to the semifinals after a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Arba Star.
While Taleno FC took the win, the moment of the match belonged to Arba Star. They may not have had luck on their side, but they left the crowd in awe by scoring what is already being hailed as the best goal of the tournament—a stunning strike that showcased the incredible raw talent found in our youth.
This high-octane competition is powered by the vision of Hon. Abdille Abdirahman, the incoming Member of Parliament for Wajir West 2027. His dedication to providing a platform for these young stars is transforming the sporting landscape of Arbajahan, proving that the future of Wajir West is brighter than ever.
