ORIGINAL WOLF’S PRAIRIE PLAYGROUND HONOR SLATS

As part of the original Wolf’s Prairie Playground, engraved honor slats were created to recognize and celebrate the community members, families, and businesses who supported the original build. As we transition forward, we are working to carefully salvage and return these commemorative pieces whenever possible.

If you would like to retrieve your honor slat, please email [email protected] by Thursday, June 18th to have your name added to the retrieval list.

At this time, a pickup date has not been determined. Once the salvage and separation process is complete and all recoverable slats have been identified, those on the retrieval list will be contacted directly with pickup instructions.

After June 18th, we will not be able to accommodate additional retrieval requests. Any remaining materials will be recycled.

📢 Village Hall Hours Update Beginning July 1

Starting July 1, 2026, Village Hall will be closed to the public on Fridays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to allow staff dedicated time for administrative work, project coordination, and behind-the-scenes tasks that help keep Village operations running smoothly.

During this Friday afternoon closure:
In-person payments will not be accepted.
Walk-in services will not be available.

However, you can still:
📞 Call Village Hall and leave a message for staff.
📬 Drop off payments using the secure payment drop box located outside Village Hall.

Regular business hours will remain unchanged outside of this Friday afternoon closure.

We understand changes like this can be an adjustment, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to serve our residents as efficiently as possible.

Spotted this past weekend at the GBSRD Tournament showing support and repping some seriously bold “Bomb Squad” swag!

Jack also serves on the Recreation Authority, continuing to invest time and energy into strengthening community recreation and opportunities for residents!

A big thank you to Jack Davis for consistently showing up and supporting our community...on the sidelines, in meetings, and everywhere in between. 👏

((CORRECTED)) PAST DUE Water bills are due tomorrow!

The Village is now fully transitioned to our new utility billing system. Payments were due June 1st.

Residents can:
✔️ Pay online
✔️ Enroll in AutoPay through the new system
✔️ Continue dropping off payments at Village Hall

We need your help to make this festival happen! 🎉

A huge thank you to Zach Fedoruk for the many hours he has dedicated to helping make this festival a reality and for writing this call to the community and article in this week’s Journal Era.

Our festival is powered by volunteers, and we truly cannot do it without community support. From setup and activities to cleanup, volunteers are what keep this event running year after year.
