What began as an Environment Month cleanup led by the Ministry’s Parks and Beaches Unit has helped kick-start preparations for the St. Christopher National Trust and National Museum’s upcoming Spooners Knowledge Fair, happening Friday, 11 September 2026.

This is proof that our work does not happen in isolation - it moves, connects and resounds. From our parks and beaches to our historical spaces and communities - our efforts create opportunities for others to build, collaborate and bring national heritage to life.

Recently, I had the honour of delivering care packages of essential medical equipment to two elderly care homes in the Saddlers Community on behalf of the Ministry of Environment, Climate Action and Constituency Empowerment’s Department of Constituency Empowerment.

With the generous support of the Ministry of Health and Amory Enterprises, the DCE was able to donate wheelchairs, walkers and adult diapers to both the Saddler’s Home for the Elderly and the Stanley’s Renewed Life Elderly Care Facility.

I am reminded that true constituency empowerment means ensuring every member of our community is seen, supported, and valued. These packages represent just that - an investment in the health, dignity, comfort, and quality of life of our senior citizens.

Together, we continue to uplift lives, support those in need, and build strong communities of service where every individual is cared for.

With the help of Climate Analytics, the Ministry's Climate Action Unit has been working to develop a national Loss and Damage Strategy that is both in alignment with national priorities and international commitments.

This Workshop will help to not only improve our stakeholders' understanding of Loss and Damage but will also validate our strategic direction and proposed actions.
