PREVENTION STARTS WITH PREPARATION
Recently, Soldiers assigned to the 154th Medical Detachment conducted preventive medicine training at Camp Walker, South Korea.
During the training, Soldiers sharpened essential skills including testing water quality, conducting food inspections and building mosquito traps. These preventive medicine techniques help identify potential health hazards and protect service members and the community from foodborne, waterborne and vector-borne illnesses.
Hands-on training like this strengthens readiness and helps ensure Soldiers have the skills needed to protect the force, at home or in the field.
