On June 25th 2025, the 906th Contracting Battalion, 411th CSB, and Gunsan City Government co-hosted a briefing at GSCO to help local businesses enter the U.S. Forces Korea procurement market. Over 150 companies attended, receiving practical guidance on registration and accessing federal contracts. The event aimed to boost the local economy and expand overseas opportunities for regional companies.

🎖 Congratulations to MAJ Andre Gatlin! 🎖

Please join us in congratulating MAJ Andre Gatlin, Commander of Contracting Detachment B, on receiving the Meritorious Service Medal from the U.S. Air Force for his exceptional work while serving at Regional Contracting Office Osan.

MAJ Gatlin led 132 contracting actions worth $139 million, directly supporting 18,000 Airmen and Guardians across six locations. He modernized procurement processes, boosted funds ex*****on by 130%, and helped secure an additional $512K for F-16 operations. He also launched Osan’s first Field Ordering Officer program, enhancing combat support capabilities in contested environments.

A well-earned recognition for truly impactful leadership!

906th Contracting Battalion Stands in Solidarity on Denim Day 👖

Today, Soldiers and Civilians of the 906th Contracting Battalion proudly wore denim in support of Denim Day, a global campaign to raise awareness about sexual assault and stand with survivors.

Denim Day began after a 1998 Italian court overturned a sexual assault conviction, arguing that the survivor’s jeans were “too tight” and must have been removed with help—implying consent. In response, people around the world began wearing denim as a powerful symbol of protest against victim-blaming and misconceptions about sexual violence.

By wearing denim, we reaffirm our support for the Army’s SHARP program and our shared responsibility to uphold a culture of dignity, respect, and accountability.

We stand with survivors. We stand for change.
