August was a busy month for the Hellhounds, but one filled with great training and accomplishments.

From driver’s training to the large-scale UFS 25 exercise, our Soldiers stayed engaged, sharpened their skills, and proved once again that readiness is built through consistent effort and teamwork. 🔥

The GCC FAB visited from Wonju on Thursday 10 July. The visit started with a brief on 2ID’s history followed by a brief on training events DIVARTY is hosting. DIVARTY leaders then took the GCC FAB personnel to lunch at Paulie’s, then on a guided tour through the 2ID Museum.

The visit served as a good opportunity to build relationships among both staffs and agreements on future combined training events.

Today the Headquarters Battery conducted a barracks inspection as part of ongoing efforts to promote pride in ownership and maintain high standards of discipline and cleanliness. Among all rooms inspected, PVT Ramos stood out for her attention to detail and overall excellence. In recognition of her efforts, she was presented with the Battery Coin of Excellence.

This week, 2ID DIVARTY’s SFRG hosted a celebratory Pizza Party for service members and their families to show our appreciation for everyone’s hard work and dedication following several weeks of successful training missions, weapons qualifications, and now, Change of Command inventories. The SFRG also hosted a meeting and family dinner catered by Panda Express. Both events were made possible thanks to the generous donations across multiple unit fundraisers these past few months.

In accordance with our Title 10 responsibilities, the U.S. Army remains committed to transparency, professionalism, and adherence to DoD directives while continuing to engage with our community in a manner that reflects our core values.

In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the U.S. Army has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. As a result, certain posts have been removed, are in a process of being removed, or modified to maintain consistency with federal guidance and uphold the integrity of our official communication channels. As 2024 is coming to a close, we’d like to reflect back and thank all of our SFRG volunteers and participants and Unit Ministry Team who made DIVARTY feel like a family. We appreciate all the extra hours everyone dedicated to volunteering off post, transporting others, celebrating Korean culture, providing meals for events and those in need, planning and teaching courses, fundraising tirelessly, and so much more! We are grateful to you all and we look forward to 2025 together with everyone!

Our 2ID DIVARTY SFRG volunteers baked and donated several hundred cookies for our dedicated service members spending the holidays away from home. We packaged and handed out the cookies at the barracks with the help of our DIVARTY family members and Mrs. Clause to spread some holiday cheer! Thank you to everyone who showed our unit your love and dedication!

The DIVARTY SFRG hosted a Kimchi making event where we learned how to make Korean radish and cucumber kimchi from scratch.
A very special thank you to SSG Jung Ho Kim for serving as the chef and instructor for the event! He prepared the recipes and ingredients to help make this experience both family-friendly and extremely fun! We finished out the event with some traditional Korean food for lunch.
