Thank you to everyone who supported the Seoul Convention Bureau on our SNS throughout the year.

2025 has been a truly meaningful year for Seoul MICE.

Seoul was recognized as the Best MICE City for the 11th consecutive year, and also topped the Global MZ City Rankings for the fourth year in a row, demonstrating strong global interest in and affection for the city.

This year also marked the opening of Seoul MICE Plaza, a new space designed to support the MICE industry in Seoul. Located at COEX Magok, Seoul MICE Plaza welcomes everyone, and we look forward to seeing many of you there.

Through the WSB Super Trip, many visitors traveled to Seoul and experienced the city’s MICE venues, culture, and everyday life.

At IMEX America 2025, Seoul showcased its MICE strengths through a Seoul Pavilion featuring cultural experiences, business meetings, and interactive programs. At ITB Asia 2025 in Singapore, Seoul promoted its open and friendly MICE image through a themed booth, cultural programs, and strong global partnerships.

Finally, 2025 SMA Member’s Day brought together 282 MICE professionals to share AI insights, explore industry trends, and strengthen collaboration.

The 2025 Seoul MICE Alliance Annual Meeting was successfully held on Thursday, November 27 at The Westin Seoul Parnas, with 282 SMA members and MICE industry professionals in attendance.
⠀
The Seoul MICE Alliance is the largest MICE partnership in Korea, created by the the Seoul Tourism Organization to support the city’s MICE industry. It currently has 345 member companies.

The event was held in two sessions.
⠀
The first session began with a special lecture by science communicator “Gwiedo.”
After that, seven companies in the 2025 Accelerating Program presented their new services and business results at the Seoul Tourism & MICE Accelerating Showcase.
The SMA Business Meeting was held afterward, along with a hotel tour of The Westin Seoul Parnas.

The second session featured the Members’ Night, where participants looked back on the key achievements of Seoul’s MICE industry in 2025.
An awards ceremony was also held to recognize individuals and organizations that contributed to the industry this year.
The event concluded with a networking dinner and a traditional performance called “Jijidaeak”.

Together with SMA, we’ll continue driving the growth of Seoul’s MICE industry in the year ahead.🤝❤️
