THE FAREWELL RECEPTION IN HONOUR OF HIS GRACE ARCHBISHOP EUGENE M. NUGENT, APOSTOLIC NUNCIO

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, H.E. Dr. Brahima D. Kaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia to the State of Kuwait, accompanied by his Counselor for Economic and Diplomatic Affairs, Mr. Hassan Ishmael Kenneh, attended a Farewell Reception held in honour of His Grace Archbishop Eugene M. Nugent, Apostolic Nuncio of the HOLY SEE to Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

The reception was well attended by senior officials of the Government of the State of Kuwait, members of the diplomatic corps, regional stakeholders, religious leaders from the Islamic faith, representatives of various Christian denominations, and members of other faith communities.

The occasion provided a valuable platform for diplomatic engagement, networking, and the strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relationships. It also offered an opportunity for participants to connect, exchange business cards and contact information, and explore areas of mutual interest and potential cooperation.

TRAINING WORKSHOP on โ€œAi FOR DIPLOMACY โ€

On June 25, 2026, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey accredited to the State of Kuwait, in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat Kuwait), organized a specialized training workshop entitled โ€œAi FOR DIPLOMACY.โ€ The training was facilitated by Dr. Fatima Al-Hasawi and Dr. Qusai Al-Duaij at the Turkish Embassy accredited to the State of Kuwait.

Recognizing the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence (Ai) and emerging technologies in modern diplomacy, the Embassy of the Republic of Liberia, under the stewardship of H.E. Dr. Brahima D. Kaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia to the State of Kuwait, designated Mr. Hassan Ishmael Kenneh, Counselor for Economic and Diplomatic Affairs, to participate in the training.

Upon successfully completing the workshop, Counselor Kenneh was awarded a CERTIFICATE OF ACCREDITATION AND COMPETENCE in recognition of his participation and successful completion of the training.

Counselor Kenneh subsequently presented the certificate to H.E. Ambassador Dr. Brahima D. Kaba, as a demonstration of his commitment to continuous professional development and the acquisition of contemporary skills relevant to modern diplomatic practice.

The training further reflects the Embassyโ€™s commitment to strengthening the capacity of its diplomatic personnel and embracing innovative tools and technologies that can enhance diplomatic communication, analysis, negotiation, policy development, and international engagement.

Tonight, August 11, 2026, under the distinguished stewardship of H.E. Dr. Brahima D. Kaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia, accredited to the State of Kuwait, the Embassy of the Republic of Liberia was represented by Mr. Hassan Ishmael Kenneh, Counselor for Economic and Diplomatic Affairs, at a reception hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Chad to commemorate the 66th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Chad.

The ceremony brought together distinguished dignitaries, members of the diplomatic corps, senior Kuwaiti government officials, and other prominent stakeholders, reflecting the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation among Chad, Kuwait, Liberia, and the wider international community.

Today, H.E. Dr. Brahima D. Kaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the Republic of Liberia accredited to the State of Kuwait, accompanied by the Embassy's Counselor for Economic and Diplomatic Affairs, Mr. Hassan Ishmael Kenneh, attended the National Day (Independence Day) celebration of the Republic of Peru, held at the Marina Hotel, Salmiya, Kuwait ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ผ

The ceremony was well attended by members of the senior and junior Diplomatic Corps, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, government representatives, stakeholders, members of the business community, and other distinguished guests from both Kuwait and the international community.

The event provided an excellent platform to strengthen diplomatic relations and engage with potential investors, development partners, government officials, and fellow members of the Diplomatic Corps. On Sunday, July 19, 2026, H.E. Dr. Brahima D. Kaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia accredited to the State of Kuwait, was represented by Mr. Hassan Kenneh, Counselor for Economic and Diplomatic Affairs, at the Farewell Reception hosted in honor of H.E. Madame Tuba Nur Sรถnmez, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey accredited to the State of Kuwait.

The reception brought together a distinguished gathering of Ambassadors, including His Highness Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid Al Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Kuwait (who is also the current Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in the State of Kuwait), members of the Diplomatic Corps, senior Kuwaiti government officials, representatives of fellow Gulf nations, and other prominent stakeholders.

CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE EMBASSY OF THE STATE OF QATAR ๐Ÿ‡ถ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, His Excellency Dr. Brahima D. Kaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Liberia accredited near the State of Kuwait, paid a condolence visit to the Embassy of the State of Qatar accredited near the State of Kuwait to convey, with profound sorrow, the heartfelt condolences of the Government and people of the Republic of Liberia following the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, father of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar.

His Excellency Ambassador Kaba was accompanied by his Counselor, Mr. Hassan Kenneh.

During the visit, Ambassador Kaba presented a Letter of Condolence and signed the Book of Condolences on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Liberia, expressing Liberia's deepest sympathies and solidarity with the Government, the Royal Family, and the people of the State of Qatar during this period of mourning. He further conveyed prayers for the peaceful repose of the late Sheikh's soul and for strength, comfort, and fortitude for His Highness the Amir, the Royal Family, and the people of Qatar.

The visit reaffirmed the longstanding bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and cordial bilateral relations between the Republic of Liberia and the State of Qatar.

On February 8, 2026 Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait H.E. Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo met with Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Republic of Liberia to the State of Kuwait, H.E. Dr. Brahima D. Kaba.
During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral relations between the countries, as well as cooperation within the framework of the diplomatic corps.
