The Sierra Leone Union wishes to inform and advise all Sierra Leonean community members residing in the State of Kuwait to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding as tensions continue to grow in the Middle East region.

As responsible residents, we strongly urge all community members to strictly follow the guidelines and instructions issued by the Government of the Kuwait and its relevant authorities regarding safety and emergency preparedness. Compliance with official directives is essential to ensure personal and collective safety during this period.

The Union encourages members to:

Stay updated through official government communication channels.

Avoid spreading unverified information or rumors on social media.

Keep important documents safe and accessible.

Ensure emergency contact numbers are readily available.

Follow any civil defense or security instructions issued by the authorities without hesitation.

We also advise parents to closely monitor their children and families to ensure they understand basic safety measures. Unity, discipline, and cooperation with authorities are key during such times.

The Sierra Leone Union remains committed to the welfare and protection of all Sierra Leoneans in Kuwait. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates where necessary in coordination with the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Kuwait.

We call on all members of our community to remain prayerful, peaceful, and supportive of one another.
