It's been more than 25 years since the Cayman Islands pension framework had a comprehensive review. Recently, the Ministry brought industry representatives together to begin changing that.
Acting Minister for Caymanian Employment & Immigration the Hon. Julie Hunter welcomed participants to early consultation sessions on pension reform, a pivotal opportunity to help Caymanians build greater financial security and retire with dignity.
Amy Wolliston, Deputy Director (Pensions) of the Department of Labour and Pensions, delivered the technical presentation on the proposed changes and the critical need for reform.
Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughtful insights, perspectives, and constructive feedback. Every contribution will inform the next phase of this work as we build a stronger, more sustainable pension system for current and future generations.
