Киевте Украинаның шетелдегі дипломатиялық мекемелері басшыларының жыл сайынғы кеңесінің екінші күні аяқталды.

During the second day of Ambassador’s Conference 2026, a session was held with the military leadership and combat generals, focusing on defenсe capabilities, necessary weaponry, the protection of Ukrainian skies, and situation on the battlefield. For the first time, the Conference included a session in this format, bringing together Ukrainian ambassadors and military leadership for a direct discussion of Ukraine’s security and defence priorities.
The session brought together:
▪️ Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
▪️ Major General Ihor Skybiuk – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
▪️ Major General Yevhenii Khmara – Acting Minister of Defence of Ukraine
▪️ Brigadier General Pavlo Palisa – Deputy Head of the Presidential Office
💬 "Every success achieved by our military on the battlefield strengthens Ukraine’s position at the negotiating table. Every day, we work to ensure that our defenders have the modern weapons, support, and resources they need to accomplish their combat missions.
Strengthening Ukraine’s Defence Forces remains the number one daily priority for every head of a Ukrainian diplomatic mission and for our entire diplomatic service. The new political season must deliver new decisions to enhance the protection of our people. This is the key task set by the President of Ukraine", Ukraine’s Acting Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha highlighted following the meeting.
