LGU SANTA MARCELA SUPPORTS NATIONAL RARE DISEASE WEEK 2026

The Local Government Unit of Santa Marcela, Apayao, supports the observance of National Rare Disease Week Philippines 2026 from February 22-28, 2026.

In line with Presidential Proclamation No. 1989, the last week of February is declared as National Rare Disease Week to increase public awareness and encourage stronger support for individuals and families affected by rare conditions.

Now in its 17th year, this year’s theme, “More Than You Can Imagine,” highlights the strength of individuals and families living with rare diseases.

Santa Marcela stands in solidarity with the rare disease community in promoting awareness, understanding and inclusive support for all.
