The IFLE project: French as a tool for regional integration and exchanges in the English-speaking Caribbean

Funded by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and led by the Regional Coordination of the Alliances Françaises for the English-speaking Caribbean, the IFLE project (Integrating French as a Language of Exchanges) aims to contribute to CARICOM's ambitions in assertion of a collective identity, openness to the world, development of exchanges, and promotion of intra-regional mobility. It proposes to achieve these objectives by creating an environment conducive to multilingualism, inclusive of French, through three main focal areas: education, culture and entrepreneurship.
