මෙට්‍රො බස් රථ සේවාව සම්බන්ධයෙන් මේ සටහන තියන්නම ඕනෙ කියල හිතුණ.

ලෝකයෙ අනෙක් රටවල මේ සේවාව පිළිබඳව අහල දැකල තිබුණත්, ලංකාවෙත් කවදා හෝ මේ වගෙ පොදු ප්‍රවාහනයෙ දියුණුවක් දකින්න ලැබේවි කියල බලාපොරොත්තුවක් තිබුණත්, අද හෙට ඒ පරිවර්තනය අත්විඳින්න ලැබේවි කියල හිතුවෙ නැහැ.

මේ සටහන තියන්නෙ අද මෙට්‍රො එකක යන ගමන්, නමුත් මෙට්‍රො සේවාව ආරම්භ වුණ මුල් දවස්වල සිට අද වෙනකල් භාවිතා කරල අත්දැකීමත් එක්කල.

✅ නමුත් දැන් අදියරෙන් අදියර බස් නැවතුම් ප්‍රමාණය වැඩි කරමින් පවතිනවා.

⛔ ඒ වගේම මුල් දිනවල බස් රථ live tracking එකක් තිබුණෙ නැහැ.

✅ දැන් live tracking එක update වෙනවා. ඒ වගේම නියමිත වෙලාවට බස් රථය පැමිණෙනවා.

⛔ ඇතැම් අය මෙට්‍රො බස් රථ සේවාව ගැන තිබ්බ සටහන් වලින් තමන් අත්වින්ඳ නෙගටිව් අත්දැකීම් සටහන් කරල තිබුණ.

✅ ඒ අඩුපාඩුත් නිවැරදි කරගෙන මේ සේවාව තවත් citizen friendly service එකක් විදිහට පවත්වාගෙන යාවි කියන විශ්වාසය තිබෙනවා...

🚫 පෞද්ගලික බස් හිමියන්ගෙ සංගමය යැයි කියාගත්ත අයගෙ ඵලක් නැති විවේචන නම් අවශ්‍ය නැහැ.

ඔව් මේක යුරෝපය නෙවෙ. මේක ලංකාව. ලංකාව අපි දියුණු කරන්නෝන. තාක්ෂණය, සුවපහසුව, ප්‍රමිතිය කියන්නෙ යුරෝපයට සීමා වුණ දෙයක් නෙවෙ.

යුද්ධයක් පවතින රටක හමුදා සෙබළෙක් වෙන්න තීරණය කරනවා කියන්නේම ජීවිතය අත් හැරීමක්. තමාගෙ අම්මට පුතා අහිමි වන බව දැන දැනම අනෙක් අම්මලාගෙ පුතුන් රකින්නට, තමාගේ දරුවන්ට පියා අහිමි වන බව දැනම අනෙක් දරුවන්ගෙ පියවරු මව්වරු රකින්ට, රටට සාමය උදා කරන්නට, පෙරට එන කෙනෙක්ට සාමාන්‍ය පුද්ගලයෙක්ට වඩා ධෛර්යයක්, වීර්‍යක් තිබිය යුතුයි. ඔවුන්ගේ ඒ කැපකිරීමට, වීර්‍යට ගෞරවය අපි රටක් විදිහට පුදකළ යුතුයි. අදත් හෙටත් ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයෙක් ලෙස හදවතින්ම මම ඒ කෘතඥපූර්වක ගෞරවය ඔවුන්ට පුද කරනවා ! ❤️🇱🇰🙏

Deciding to become a soldier in a country at war… that's not just a job, it's a choice to put your life on the line. It means walking into danger knowing your own mother might lose her son, your own children might lose their father...just so someone else's family doesn't have to. That kind of courage is extraordinary, it springs from a place beyond fear, from a heart that holds firm.
We owe them more than just thanks. As a Sri Lankan, from the bottom of my heart, I honour that sacrifice, today, tomorrow and for every tomorrow to come ! 🇱🇰🙏

Sri Lanka is among top 20 countries which are IMF borrowers by Total Amount and Percentage of GDP.

Countries are not bankrupted overnight. They are weakened by years of shortsighted politics, unsustainable economics, and decisions made without accountability.
Sri Lanka's place among the top IMF borrowers is not just a statistic, it is a reflection of lessons written through hardship.
The way forward demands discipline, production, transparency and leadership that thinks beyond election cycles. That's the System Change. Hopefully we will be able to get through this...

📌 Entrusted with Sacred Treasures from the President of Sri Lanka

Today, on Day 8 (April 28, 2026), marks the final day of our week-long Walk for Peace journey through this beautiful island. This afternoon (local Sri Lanka time), we were deeply honored to participate in the Closing Ceremony at Independence Square in Colombo.

During this historic event, Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra was formally entrusted with the Sacred Relics of the Buddha and a sacred sapling from the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, presented by the Honorable President of Sri Lanka, Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

These sacred treasures are powerful symbols of peace, mindfulness, loving-kindness, harmony, and wisdom—the very same values that inspired the Walk for Peace across both the United States and Sri Lanka.

This is a profoundly significant moment, sharing Sri Lanka's precious Buddhist heritage with the international community. These sacred items will travel with us to Fort Worth, Texas, where they will be available for veneration and exhibition at Huong Dao Temple during our Vesak celebration from May 2–10, 2026.

We are profoundly grateful to the President, the Government of Sri Lanka, the venerable monks of the Sri Lankan Sangha, and the warm-hearted people of this nation for this immense honor and trust. The love and devotion we have witnessed here will remain in our hearts forever.

May these sacred blessings help spread the seeds of peace across the world.

May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏✨

ඔබ සැමට සාමය, සතුට, සෞභාග්‍යය සපිරි සුබ අලුත් අවුරුද්දක් වේවා ! 🙏🌞

සිංහල හා දමිළ අලුත් අවුරුද්ද තමයි ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් සමරන උත්කෘෂ්ටම සංස්කෘතිකාංගය. අතීතයේ සිටම එය හෙළයේ මහා කලා මංගල්‍ය ලෙස සැමරුවා.

තවත් එක් දිනයක් සැමරීමට එහා ගිය ගැඹුරු ඉතිහාසයක්, අරමුණක්, විශ්වාසයක් මෙහි ගැබ්ව තිබෙනවා. විශේෂයෙන්ම අතීතයේ කෘෂිකාර්මික රටක් වුණ අපේ රට ගොවිතැන හා බැඳුණු විශ්වාස, චාරිත්‍ර වාරිත්‍ර, ආගමික විශ්වාස වලට මුල් තැන දීලා මේ මංගල්‍ය සැමරුවා.

අපේ අනන්‍යතාවය සහ සම්ප්‍රදායන් පවත්වාගෙන යාමට අත්වැලක් දෙන නිසාත්,

අලුත් පරම්පරාවට අපේ පොහොසත් සංස්කෘතිය, සිරිත් විරිත් සහ වටිනාකම් පිළිබඳව ඉගෙන ගන්න පුළුවන් වෙන නිසාත්,

ඒ වගේම විශේෂයෙන් තාක්ෂණයෙ දියුණුව එක්කල හැල්මෙ දුවන, මානව සබඳතා දුර්වල වෙමින් යන මොහොතක පවුලත් හිතමිත්‍රාදීන් එක්කල එකට එකතු වෙලා සහයෝගයෙන් කටයුතු කිරීමෙන් අපේ ජීවගුණයන් වලට යළි පණ දෙන නිසාත්,

විශේෂයෙන් ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් සියලු දෙනාම රටක් ලෙස එක් මොහොතක එකට එක්වී චාරිත්‍ර ඉටු කිරීම රටක් ලෙස ඉතා හරවත් පදනමක් ගොඩනගන බැවින්,

මෙම සංස්කෘතිකාංගයන් අප අවබෝධයෙන් යුතුව සැමරිය යුතුව තිබෙනවා...

මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙක් තමන්ගේ pay sheet එක සමාජ මාධ්‍යයේ පලකිරීමත් එක්කල එකපාර්ලිමේන්තු වැටුප පිළිබඳ නැවත කතා බහක් මතුවෙලා.
ඇත්තටම දේශපාලනය කියන්නෙ ගරු සේවයක්ද ? නැත්තම් වෘත්තියක් ද ?

ගරු සේවයක් නම්, ජනතාවට නොලැබෙන කිසිවක් දේශපාලඥයෙක්ට ලැබිය යුතු වන්නේ නැහැ.

වෘත්තියක් නම්, ඊට සරිලන වැටුපක්, දීමනා, අනෙකුත් පහසුකම් ලැබිය යුතුයි වගේම, KPI තිබිය යුතුයි.

ලංකාවේ දේශපාලනය මින් ස්ථානගතව ඇත්තේ කොතැනද ?
