Education & Social Development Society (ESDS) which a self funded society incorporated to support the Education and Social development of the community had the privilege to launch its GCE (A/L) second Batch and the intake was formally celebrated under the patronage of Western Province Hon Governor Hon Hanif Yusoof as the Chief Guest and Deputy Minister of National Integration Hon Muneer Mulaffar MP as the Guest of Honor. The ceremony was presided by Al Azhar Central College Principal Mr A J M Furkhan, attended by the ESDS President M A M Ikram, ESDS Officials, Teachers, Thihariya Doctors Association Members, Donors, OBA, OGA, Parents and Students.
The students selected in 2025 by the ESDS (Educational and Social Development Society), which was established to provide support to poor students who have passed the G.C.E. (O.L.) and are eager to pursue Advanced Level in Science and Mathematics, will be eligible to sit for the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination in 2027.
අ.පො.ස (සා.පෙල) සමත්වී විද්යාව සහ ගණිතය විෂයන්වලින් උසස් පෙළ හැදෑරීමට ආසාවෙන් සිටින දිළිඳු සිසු දරුවන්ට සවියක් වීම සඳහා ඇතිකරගත් ESDS ආයතනයේ (අධ්යාපන සහ සමාජ සංවර්ධන සමිතිය ) 2025 වර්ෂයේ තෝරාගත් දරුවන් 2027 වර්ෂයේ අපොස උසස් පෙළ සඳහා සූදානම් කිරීමේ වැඩසටහනක් අද දින නිට්ටඹුව තිහාරිය අල් අසාර් මධ්ය මහා විද්යාලයේදී බස්නාහිර පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාර හනීෆ් යූසුප් මහතාගේ සහ ජාතික ඒකාබද්ධතා නියෝජ්ය අමාත්ය පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රී මුනීර් මුලෆර් මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්විණි.
මෙම තෝරා ගත් සිසු දරුවන් සඳහා අපොස උසස් පෙළ නිමවන තෙක් සියලුම වියදම් මෙම ආයතනය විසින් දරනු ලබන අතර මෙම වර්ෂය සඳහා සිසු දරුවන් තිස් දෙනෙකුට තෝරාගෙන ඇත.
මෙහිදී පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්රී මුනීර් මුලෆර් ජාතික ඒකාබද්ධතා නියෝජ්ය අමාත්ය, හනීෆ් යූසුප් බස්නාහිර පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාර උත්සවය අමතන ලදී
මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා පාසලේ විදුහල්පති, ගුරුභවතුන්, ESDS ආයතනයේ සාමාජිකයින්, දෙමාපියන් සහ සිසු දරුවන් සහභාගි විය.
