Trinity College Cadet Platoon (2nd Battalion) Trinity College Kandy Cadet Platoon ( 2nd Battalion) The officers are teachers who act as instructors.

The National Cadet Corps (Sri Lanka) is the Sri Lankan military cadet corps and is a Ministry of Defense sponsored youth organization in the Sri Lanka. Formally the Ceylon Cadet Corps It is open to high school students on voluntary basis and has a history of more than 126 years as of 2007. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades.The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service but many volunteer to join the armed forces.

අපි දවස් ගණන් ඉස්කෝලේ නැවතිලා නිදි මරාගෙන...
උදේ ඉදන් රෑ වෙනකන් දාඩිය කදුලු ලේ එක්ක හැප්පිලා හොදටම කට්ට කාල අපි කෑම්ප් ගියා... 😊


කෑම්ප් ගියපු මුල්ම දවසෙ ආයෙ ගෙදර එන්න හිතුනත් අන්තිම දවස් වෙද්දී කෑම්ප් එක දාල එන්න බැරි තරමට ජීවිතයේ අමතක නොවන සුන්දර නවාතැනක් වුණා රන්ටැඹේ කෑම්ප් එක. ❤️

The Images were given to the NCC website by the former cadet Mr. Suranga Navarathne. The Sgt at the time was Sgt. Daluatta now Major active duty and if you look closely you will also find the future Cdt Sgt. Kuruppuarchi also in the image, PO is the young Lt. B.P.Wickramasooriya now Lt.Col

The 1964 TCK cadet Platoon - generously contributed by Mr. Lasantha Dasanayake.

1964 Trinity Cadet Platoon lead by Sgt. D.D.R. Corea and Sgt. C. L. B. Dasanayaka (3rd term) (My father). They won the Commandant's Trophy at Diyatalawa C.C.C Camp. The annual Senior Cadet Camp had been held during the April vacation and the Platoon had to attend camp without their Officer, 2nd. Lieut. C. Weerakoon who could not attend camp.
