If we take a look at the recent and not so recent past of the political history of Sri Lanka we can clearly see that the United National Party has always come forward to rebuild this country at crucial junctures when all hope was lost. They have successfully managed to steer the country back to a better path even at the cost of election victories.

At a time when false propoganda and blatant lies have misled a nation it is crucial for us to understand the risk of absolute power vested upon such a group and use this opportunity wisely. There is also no better time than now to place your trust back in the UNP and demand for a united front.
