May Day Message of the National People's Power 2023 (👇)
ශ්රී ලංකාවේ වැඩකරන ජනතාව මෙවර මැයි දිනය සමරන්නේ, ජාතික වශයෙන් පමණක් නොව, ජාත්යන්තර තලයේ ද වෙනස්කම් රාශියක් සිදුවෙමින් පවතින මොහොතකය. ජාත්යන්තරව පුරා වසර හතලිස් පහක් පමණ ලෝක පරිමාන වශයෙන් ආධිපත්ය දැරූ නව ලිබරල් ධනවාදි, සමාජ ආර්ථික වැඩපිළිවෙල, එහි පතුලෙන්ම ඛාදනය වෙමින් පවතී. අනික් පැත්තෙන්, එකී සමාජ ආර්ථික වැඩ පිළිවෙලට අභියෝග කරමින්, නැගී එන ආසියාව කේන්ද්රය කරගත්, ගෝලීය දකුණ ශක්තිමත් ලෙස ඉදිරියට පැමිණෙමින් තිබේ.
මේ අතර අප රටේ ප්රභූ පාලක පැලැන්තිය, ඔවුන් විසින්ම නිර්මාණය කර ගන්නා ලද ආර්ථික අර්බුදයට විසඳුමක් සොයන මුවාවෙන්, මහ බැකුවේ අධිපති මගින් රට බංකොළොත් බව ප්රකාශයට පත්කරවා ගත්තේ ය. එහි අවසාන ප්රථිපලය ලෙස ජාත්යන්තර මූල්ය අරමුදලේ “ස්ථායිකරණ” වැඩ සටහන සහ ලෝක බැංකුවේ “ව්යුහමය සැකසුම්” යටතට දැන් ශ්රි ලංකාව පත් කර තිබේ. ඒ අනුව, ජනතාව පීඩාවට පත්කරන හා ජාතිය සතු දේපොල විකුණා දැමීම ඇතුලු මූල්ය අරමුදලේ කොන්දේසි මේ වනවිට රට තුළ ක්රියාත්මක වෙමින් පවතී. මේ කොන්දේසි ක්රියාත්මක කිරීමට එරෙහිව මතුවන ජනතාවගේ විරෝධය යටපත් කිරීමට, ප්රභූ පාලක පංතිය මේ වනවිට වැඩකරන ජනතාව ප්රමුඛ පොදු ජනතාවට එරෙහිව රාජ්ය මර්ධනය දියත්කර ඇත.
මේ වනවිට ආණ්ඩුව සමාජ ආරක්ෂණ ක්රියාවලියද දුර්වල කරමින් සෞඛ්යය, අධ්යාපනය වැනි පොදු පහසුකම් කප්පාදු කරමින් ජනතාව දිගින් දිගටම පීඩාවට පත්කරමින් ඇත. වැඩ කරන ස්ත්රීන් සහ විශේෂයෙන්ම අවිධිමත් ක්ෂේත්රයන්හි වැඩ කරන ජනතාව මත ක්රමානුකූලව ජීවන බර පටවමින් සිටී. එබැවින් මෙවර මැයි දිනයේ දී ආණ්ඩුවේ මේ නපුරු ක්රියා පටිපාටිය නිසා ආන්තිකරණයට ලක් වුනු සියළු ජන කොටස් ඉන් මුදවා ගැනීම සඳහා සංවිධානය වීමට අදිටන් කර ගත යුතුය.
එමෙන්ම ශ්රී ලංකාවේ වැඩ කරන ජනතාව මේ මැයි දිනය සමරන්නේ, හැත්තෑ පස් වසරකට පසු පාලක ප්රභූ පංතිය අභිබවා, ජාතියේ නායකත්වය පොදු ජනතාව නියෝජනය කරන ජාතික ජනබලවේගය වටා පෙළගැසෙමින් සිටින මොහොතක ය. මෙයින් සලිත වී සිටින ප්රභූ පාලක පැලැන්තිය මැතිවරණ නොපවත්වා, ඊනියා ලිබරල් ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදයේ නිරුවත මොනවට ප්රදර්ශනය කරමින් සිටිති. ඒ අනුව, ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය දිනාගැනීමේ සටන ද මේ වනවිට වැඩකරන ජනතාව ප්රමුඛ පොදුජනතාව වෙත පැවරී තිබේ. සියලු බලවේග ඒකරාශි කරගනිමින්, දුෂිත ප්රභූ පාලනය පලවාහැර, ජනතාවගේ පාලනයක් ස්ථාපිත කරගැනීමට, ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදයට හිතැති සියලු බලවේගයන්ට බලකෙරී ඇත.
මෙවන් තත්වයන් යටතේ, ප්රතිගාමිත්වයට හා ජාතිවාදයට එරෙහිව මෙවරත්, ජාතික ජනබලවේගය, වැඩකරන ජනතාව සමඟ එක්ව ජාත්යන්තර මැයි දිනය සැමරීමට තීරණය කර ඇති අතර ඒ වෙනුවෙන් අපි අපේ සහෝදරාත්මක සුභ පැතුම් වැඩ කරන ජනතාව වෙත මෙසේ එක් කර සිටිමු.

தேசிய மக்கள் சக்தியின் மே தினச் செய்தி
இலங்கையின் உழைக்கும் மக்கள் இந்த வருடம் மே தினத்தைக் கொண்டாடுவதுஇ தேசிய ரீதியில் மாத்திரமன்றி சர்வதேச ரீதியிலும் பல மாற்றங்கள் ஏற்பட்டுவரும் ஒரு சந்தர்ப்பத்திலாகும். சர்வதேச மட்டத்தில் நாற்பத்தைந்து ஆண்டுகளாக உலக அளவில் ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்தி வந்த நவதாராளவாத முதலாளித்துவஇ சமூகப் பொருளாதார நிகழ்ச்சி நிரல் அதன் அடித்தளத்தில் இருந்தே அரிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. மறுபுறம்இ அதன் சமூக-பொருளாதார ஒழுங்கிற்கு சவால் விடும் வகையில்இ வளர்ந்து வரும் ஆசியாவை மையமாகக் கொண்ட பூ கோளிய தெற்கு (குளோபல் சவுத்) வலுவாக முன்னேறி வருகிறது.
இதற்கிடையில்இ நம் நாட்டின் மேல்தட்டு ஆளும் வர்க்கம்இ அவர்களாகவே உருவாக்கிக்கொண்ட பொருளாதார நெருக்கடிக்கு தீர்வு காண வேண்டும் என்ற போர்வையில்இ மத்திய வங்கியின் ஆளுநர் மூலமாக நாட்டின் திவால்நிலையை அறிவித்துக் கொண்டது. அதன் விளைவாகஇ சர்வதேச நாணய நிதியத்தின் “ஸ்திரப்படுத்தல்” வேலைத்திட்டம் மற்றும் உலக வங்கியின் “கட்டமைப்பை சீரமைத்தல்” வேலைத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் இலங்கை இப்போது உள் வாங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. அதன்படிஇ மக்களை ஒடுக்குதல் மற்றும் தேசத்துக்குச் சொந்தமான சொத்துக்களை விற்பனை செய்தல் உட்பட நாணய நிதியத்தின் நிபந்தனைகள் தற்போது நாட்டில் நடைமுறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. இந்த நிபந்தனைகளை அமுல்படுத்துவதற்கு எதிரான மக்களின் எதிர்ப்பை நசுக்கஇ மேல்தட்டு ஆளும் வர்க்கம் தற்சமயம் உழைக்கும் மக்கள் முதற்கொண்டு ஏனைய பொது மக்களுக்கு எதிராகவும் அரச அடக்குமுறையை ஏவியுள்ளது.
தற்போது அரசாங்கம் சமூகப் பாதுகாப்புச் செயற்பாடுகளையும் நலிவடையச் செய்துஇ சுகாதாரம்இ கல்வி போன்ற பொது வசதிகளைக் குறைத்து மக்களைத் தொடர்ந்தும் துன்பப்படுத்தி வருகிறது.
உழைக்கும்பெண்கள்மற்றும்குறிப்பாகமுறைசாராதுறைகளில்பணிபுரியும்மக்கள்மீதும்படிப்படியாக வாழ்க்கைச் சுமை சுமத்தப்படுகிறது. எனவேஇ இம்முறை மே தினத்தில்இ அரசின் இந்த தீய நடைமுறையின் காரணமாக ஓரங்கட்டலுக்கு உட்பட்ட அனைத்து மக்கள் குழுவினரும் அதிலிருந்து விடுபடுவதற்காக அமைப்பு ரீதியாக ஒருமைப்பட உறுதிபூண வேண்டும்.
மேலும்இ எழுபத்தைந்து வருடங்களின் பின்னர்இ ஆளும் உயரடுக்கு வர்க்கத்தை மிகைத்து தேசத்தின் தலைமையானது பொது மக்களைப் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தும் தேசிய மக்கள் சக்தியைச் சுற்றி அணி திரண்டு வரும் இத் தருணத்திலேயேஇ இலங்கையின் உழைக்கும் மக்கள் இம்முறை இந்த மே தினத்தைக் கொண்டாடுகின்றனர். இதனால் கொந்தளிப்பிற்கு உட்பட்டுள்ள மேல்தட்டு ஆளும் வர்க்கம்இ தேர்தலை நடத்தாமல்இ தாராளமய ஜனநாயகம் என்று மார்தட்டிக்கொள்ளும் அவர்களின் ஜனநாயகத்தின் நிர்வாணத்தை அப்பட்டமாக வெளிப்படுத்திய வண்ணம் உள்ளனர். அதன்படிஇ ஜனநாயகத்தை வென்றெடுப்பதற்கான போராட்டமும்இ இப்போது உழைக்கும்மக்கள் தலைமையிலான பொதுமக்கள் மீது சுமத்தப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனவேஇ அனைத்து சக்திகளையும் ஒருங்கிணைத்துஇ ஊழல் நிறைந்த மேட்டுக்குடி ஆட்சியை விரட்டியடித்து மக்கள் ஆட்சியொன்றை அமைக்க ஜனநாயகத்தை நேசிக்கும் அனைத்து சக்திகளும் நிர்ப்பந்திக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.
இவ்வாறான ஒரு நிலைமையில்இ பிற்போக்கு மற்றும் இனவாதத்திற்கு எதிராக இம்முறையும் தேசிய மக்கள் சக்தி உழைக்கும் மக்களுடன் இணைந்து சர்வதேச மே தினத்தை கொண்டாட தீர்மானித்துள்ளதுடன் அதற்காக நாம் எமது சகோதரத்துவம் வாய்ந்த நல் வாழ்த்துக்களையும் உழைக்கும் மக்களுக்கு இவ்வாறு தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கின்றோம்.

May Day Message of the National People's Power 2023
This year the working people of Sri Lanka are celebrating May Day at a time when many changes are taking place not only at the national level but also at the international level. The neo-liberal capitalist social economic system that dominated the world for forty-five years globally is eroding from its base. On the other hand, the challenge to that socio-economic agenda, is emerging from the global South with Asia at its centre.
Meanwhile, the elite ruling class of our country, under the guise of finding a solution to the economic crisis they created, declared bankruptcy through the Governor of the Central Bank.
As a result, Sri Lanka has now been placed under the International Monetary Fund's "Stabilization" and the World Bank's "Structural Reforms" programmes.
According to the conditions of the IMF, state owned properties are being sold, while oppressing the people's voice. In order to suppress the rising protests of the people against implementation of these conditions, the elite rulers are resorting to state terror against the people, especially the working people.
By now, the government is continuing to oppress the people curtailing social security programmes, cutting public facilities such as health and education.Working women and especially, workers in the informal sector are being burdened with high cost of living. Therefore, on May Day this year, all those who are suffering due to these evil acts of the government, should endeavor to get organized in order to oppose these anti-people measures.
Apart from this, the working community of Sri Lanka are celebrating this May Day, at a time when the common man is rallying round the NPP to find a solution to their problems after 75 years. The elite rulers, who are anxious about this, are postponing elections and showing the true colours of so-called neoliberal democracy. Therefore, at this time, the responsibility of establishing democracy too lies with the common people. It is imperative that all pro- democratic factions unite to oust the corrupt rulers and to establish a peoples’ government.
Under these circumstances, the NPP is ready to celebrate International May Day with the working community and we extend our wishes to the the people on this day.
