From time to time it faced many challenges and obstacles, but because of the commitment and effectiveness of its past office bearers and members, support and encouragement of the master-in-charge, other staff members and the principal, it was able to stand up against all of those obstacles and move forward as a successful society. The "Aero' 10" Aeronautical Exhibition organized by the Royal Colle
ge Aviation Society board of 2010 was one of the main highlights of the recent past of the society. The aviation related magazine "the WING" and the "Aero' 10 Quiz Competition" was held parallel to the exhibition.
“Aero’08” Exhibition and Workshop, The Wing Magazine (e-mag), “Reinquo-Aero” Aeronautical Exhibition, Seminars, Quiz Competitions, field-trips etc. are also amongst the activities which the Aeronautics Society is responsible for. Royal College Aeronautics Society also has the fullest support of many other distinct personals and organizations. The Aeronautical Association of Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka Air Force are also of fullest support and help towards the RCAS. Aeronautical/Aviation Societies of many other schools and institutions has also shown interest in doing activities in collaboration with the Royal College Aeronautics Society.
