HON. GAIUS BARSEEGIAH CAUTIONS GRADUATES OF LICOSESS TO SERVE WITH INTEGRITY

Buchanan District 3 Representative Hopeful Gaius Barseegiah has admonished graduates of LICOSESS to serve with integrity.

Delivering his Keynote address on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the 4th graduation exercise of the establishment in Buchanan, Hon. Barseegiah maintained that integrity will contribute to the betterment of Liberia's Educational System.

Hon. Barseegiah expressed that the Teaching Profession calls for integrity and as such, graduates of LICOSESS must be willing to prioritize integrity.

The Buchanan District 3 Representative Hopeful who spoke On the topic "Serve With Integrity also recommended to central government to include LICOSESS in the national budget for subsidy.

"I also recommended to the leadership of Grand Bassa to sponsor twenty teachers to LICOSESS every year to help strengthen our educational sector" he added.

He also provided a scholarship to Olivia Jlateh who was the valedictorian.

I served as guest speaker for the 4th graduation exercise of LICOSESS in the Port City of Buchanan.
I spoke on the topic: Serve With Integrity
I also recommended to central government to include LICOSESS in the national budget for subsidy.
I also recommended to the leadership of Grd Bassa to sponsor twenty teachers to LICOSESS every year to help strengthen our educational sector.
Twenty -two students graduated. I also gave a scholarship to Olivia Jlateh who was the valedictorian for her AA.
I wish her well.

Mr Morris Matadi, founder of the RILO Foundation, runs a free school in the Port City of Buchanan.
Their 4th graduation exercise was a great one and considering their contribution to the district through education.
I am asking all well meaning Liberians to support this cause. The foundation purchase one lot and half last week and with plans to construct a school for wayward kids.
Their program is mostly focus towards taking kids from the streets and having them in school. Let also know that those we refer to as zogos are having kids. When we are to make our society a wholesome one, we need to help these kids to go to school and break continuance of what their parents are involved with.
Like I have always said," an educated mind, is an independent mind". Let's support RILO Foundation and put a smile on a child's face.

In continuation of our engagement in the district, we are sponsoring a community tournament which begun on yesterday.
Today, I attended to see how well it is going.
The organizing committee has done extremely well and I a grateful to them.
Ivan Jallah, Kortie, Cornelius etc... let's keep up the engagement and thanks for your support .
I also met with players and did the kickoff.
The tournament ends on July 26.

Two weeks ago, I embarked on visitation of churches to appreciate them for their support during the campaign.
The team and I visited seven churches and the reception was great.
I told them how grateful I am and will continue the engagement till 2029 as long as God grants me good breath, good health,and energy.
Before then, we started the community engagement. We are on course.

I was in Buchanan last Friday to honor the invitation of Chariot Daycare, Elementary and Junior High School galaday as guest speaker.
The program went well.

On the same day, the leadership of all high schools in the Port City was honoring the Speaker and Pro Temp. I was honored to be a part of the program.

They used the program to raise fund to help them with some of the financial burden faced by them as they near the WAESCE period.
Education on which I ran is my passion. I strongly believe when we build more engineers, doctors, teachers, journalists, nurses, etc... it will contribute to the development of our county,and ye our nation.

In this light, I committed $75,000.00 Liberian Dollars as my contribution in easing their financial burden and hardship.
Today, Ivan R. Jallah, on my behalf presented the cash amount to Miss Janjay Venn, Chairperson and President of Bassa High School.

We recently close a debate that we sponsored for junior and senior high schools that ended successfully.

I wish our senior students well as the start their WAESCE very soon.

I remain committed to supporting the student community as God open doors for me.

The Public is informed that Hon. Gaius F. Barsee-Giah will address the Media today, October 22, 2023@3PM at the office on Kilby Street opposite the NTA parking in the Big Market.

The Press Conference will focus on a range of issues in Bassa and Liberia at large most especially the just ended Presidential and Legislative Elections.

HON. BARSEE-GIAH TO OFFICIALLY LAUNCH CAMPAIGN ON FRIDAY OCT. 6, 2023 IN BUCHANAN.

Hon. Gaius Barsee-giah, a Representative candidate for District 3, Grand Bassa County, is set to kickstart his election campaign with an official launch event on Friday, October 6, 2023.
