HON. DUKULY, COMMUNITY LEADERS, ELDERS, AND YOUTH OFFICIALLY KICK OFF THE 2026 CABILA TOURNAMENT AT JACOB TOWN FIELD

Hon. Sekou Hussein Dukuly, Managing Director of the National Port Authority of Liberia, today joined scores of community leaders, elders, and youth to officially kick off the 2026 CABILA Tournament at the Jacob Town Field in a ceremony that brought the Mande community together in a powerful display of unity, cultural pride, and shared purpose.

Organized annually by the Coalition of Mande Last Names, CABILA uses sport as a tool to connect generations, empower youth, and strengthen the bonds that hold the community together. The tournament aims to grow into a nationally recognized cultural and sporting event uniting the Mande community across Liberia and the diaspora.

We extend heartfelt appreciation to all friends, supporters, and the NPA family for coming through. Your presence made the day complete.

Today, Hon. Sekou A.M. Dukuly joined the congregation at the Doe Community Mosque for Jumu’ah prayers. After Salah, he stayed. He sat with the elders. He listened. He engaged.

With his entourage, no big ceremony. It was just a simple man showing up with a humble heart.

Hon. Dukuly comes from Bilima, a community no different from Doe. Same early morning Fajr. Same hardworking families. Same faith that holds everything together. When he walks into rooms like this, people do not see a title. They see one of their own.

To the Imam, the elders, and the wonderful people of Doe Community, thank you for your prayers, your warmth, and your open arms. May Allah reward you abundantly.

The Friends of Sekou extend their warmest congratulations to Hon. Sekou A.M. Dukuly, Managing Director of the National Port Authority of Liberia, on the Authority’s recognition by His Excellency President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. for high-level performance in the 2025 cycle of the Government of Liberia’s Performance Management and Compliance System. This recognition, earned at a composite score of 95.2 percent across all five PMCS priority areas, is a direct reflection of the focused, disciplined, and purpose-driven leadership that has defined Sekou’s tenure at the helm of the Freeport of Monrovia.

We have watched him work. We know what it has cost. And we are proud.

When the Girls Wing of Team Dukuly brought the spirit of Christmas to the women and children of Bomi County, putting smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts.

In a season defined by giving, the Girls Wing of Team Dukuly turned compassion into action, reaching out to the women and children of Bomi County with gifts, warmth, and the kind of human connection that no child should ever be without. Their laughter echoed louder than any carol, and their smiles said everything words could not.

This is what leadership looks like not just in policy and proclamation, but in presence and love.
