PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE.

ALCOP REGRETS THE UNFORTUNATE TANKER EXPLOSION SITUATION IN TOTOTA, B**G COUNTY; SYMPATHISIZES WITH BEREAVED FAMILIES.

DECEMBER 29, 2023;

The Standard Bearer of the All Liberia Coalition Party (ALCOP); Hon. Lusìnee F Ķamara Sr.regrets the tanker explosion situation that occured on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in Totota, B**g County; which led to the deaths of forty (40) persons according to Health Authorities.

Hon. Lusinee F. Kamara Sr., ALCOP's Presidential Candidate in the just ended 2023 Presidential & Legislative Elections, expressed in an unreserved manner total sadness for the untold sufferings hospitalized victims are going through and the excruciating pains victims whom succumb to death experienced before their demise. As a native of B**g County, Hon. Kamara expressed his profoundest empathy & sympathy to surviving victims and relatives of dead ones. He added that the situation is not just a disaster to B**g County, but, Liberia & Liberians as a whole.

As a senior citizen of B**g County, Hon. Kamara calls on all citizens of the county to offer 'Special Prayers & Supplications' not just for the deceased and living victims, but to also pray for the county and its citizenry so as to invoke God's unceasing mercy in order to not experience such a calamity again. He intimated that the incident is not just a hard-hit to the county's population but also to the potential human resource capacity of his beloved county.

As every well-meaning Liberian whether home or abroad envisages a better Liberia, the ALCOP's leader calls on everyone to refrain mocking at victims but instead, positively identifies with them in any way possible. At the same time, he expressed hope that the incoming Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., government would prioritize the welfare of Liberians geared towards reducing poverty gaps amongst citizens and also, for every citizens to engage in and contribute to the nation building processes.

In the midst of this current nightmare, Alhaji Lusinee F. Kamara Sr., beseech Allah for his immeasurable blessings upon Liberia as we welcome the incomning administration in the new year.

He concluded by extending warmth holidays greetings to Liberians home and abroad.

It is disheartening that some of these goods perish due to the poor condition of the roads. If you entrust us with the responsibility of leadership, we will commit to the following initiatives: •Pave 9,943 km of currently unpaved roads within 3 years. •Develop new roads and bridges across Liberia. •Modernize community roads and bridges. •Construct overhead bridges to enhance social safety needs. •Strengthen institutions responsible for maintaining all roads and bridges. •Pave public community and major roads throughout Liberia. His Excellency Liberia's next president, Hon. Lusìnee F Ķamara Sr., started his western region tour (Bomi, Cape Mount, and Gbarpolu counties) yesterday, beginning with Bomi.

The people of Bomi were so moved by Hon. Kamara's visit that they vowed to elect him as Liberia's next president in a landslide.

Many of them have committed to supporting Hon. Lusinee F. Kamara because of his background and dedication to enhancing Liberians' quality of life.
