Press Statement for Immediate Release

The Student Reformation Party congratulates Veteran Reformist Cornelia Wonkerleh Kruah on her historic and well-deserved nomination as Minister of Youth and Sports. This moment is not ceremonial it is revolutionary.

It is the reward of perseverance, ideological clarity, and disciplined service.
You walked the hard road of reform when it was dangerous to be principled and costly to be consistent.Today, history confirms what the struggle already knew; discipline in leadership outlives noise, trends, and convenience.

As Kwame Nkrumah reminded us, “Revolutions are brought about by disciplined men and women with disciplined minds.” You embody this truth.
You had got this position not as a symbol of conformity, but as proof that authenticity, courage, and structure can coexist and win.

To the youth of Liberia, your leadership declares what Thomas Sankara taught the world:
“You cannot carry out fundamental change without a certain amount of madness.” The piercings, tattoos, swimsuits, and bold expressions will make sense not as rebellion without direction, but as freedom anchored in discipline.

An ARMY of young people will rise balanced, self-aware, skilled, and unapologetically impactful knowing they can enjoy life and still build legacy.

As Nelson Mandela said, “Freedom is not the absence of discipline, but the ability to govern oneself.” Under your leadership, young people will learn that their physical appearance must never silence their inner blaze; that their identity is not their limitation; that character is louder than costume. You stand in the space where God positions reformers those who change systems without losing soul.

From Angie Brooks International Centre to the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, from African Leadership Academy to Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law, you have proven what Julius Nyerere believed: “Discipline is the foundation of freedom and development.” You never leave a space the same and this ministry will be no exception.

May your tenure usher in a culture where discipline fuels creativity, where structure strengthens freedom, and where leadership is intentional, fearless, and people-centered. May your voice remain firm, your humility intact, and your resolve immovable.

History has called and once again, you answered.
Congratulations, Honorable Minister.

A Revolutionary Condolence Tribute to a Leader, Teacher, Soldier, and Hero
In Loving Memory of Veteran Varney A. Jarsey, Chairman Emeritus Student Reformation Party

Today, our hearts are broken, our spirits heavy, and our voices trembling as we mourn the passing of a man whose life was a torch of courage, conviction, and compassion Veteran Varney A. Jarsey.

He was not just a man; he was a movement.
A revolutionary mind who gave his all for the cause of justice, equality, and the liberation of students and ordinary people alike.
He stood tall in the face of adversity, fearless before oppression, and unyielding in his belief that a better tomorrow is possible if we dare to fight for it.

Chairman Jarsey was a teacher not only in classrooms but in the streets, the assemblies, and the hearts of all who came to know him. He taught us that leadership is service, that loyalty is sacrifice, and that the struggle for dignity never dies.

He was a soldier not of war, but of truth and principle. His weapon was his voice, his courage, and his unwavering stand for what was right. In every battle for justice, he led from the front, never seeking reward, never retreating when the path grew dark.

He was a hero not because he sought glory, but because he gave himself selflessly to a cause greater than himself.
Even in his final days, he remained steadfast, concerned not for his comfort but for the well-being of his comrades, his movement, and his nation.

Today, the Student Reformation Party weeps. The revolutionary family mourns.
A giant has fallen, and the echoes of his footsteps will forever remind us that true patriots never truly die they live on in the spirit of those they inspired, in the causes they fought for, and in the fire they lit within us all.

Rest, our Leader, Teacher, Soldier, and Hero.
Your struggle was not in vain.
Your legacy will not fade.
Your name, Varney A. Jarsey, will remain engraved in the revolutionary pages of history a symbol of bravery, humility, and undying love for the people.

Sleep on, Comrade.
The battle continues, but your spirit leads the way.
Until we meet again in the land of eternal peace.

Under his leadership, FLY will not merely survive but thrive, transforming into a powerhouse that amplifies the voices of Liberia's young people, dismantles barriers to progress, and forges a path toward a prosperous, self-reliant nation.

We have witnessed his dedication firsthandthrough tireless campaigns for student rights, anti-corruption initiatives, and community mobilization and we are convinced that no other candidate possesses the resolve, intellect, and passion to lead FLY into a new era of excellence.

The Student Reformation Party (SRP) Stands in Strong Solidarity with the Student Unification Party (SUP) in Demanding the Opening of the University of Liberia

Monrovia, Liberia — January 5, 2025

The Student Reformation Party (SRP) courageously announces its unwavering solidarity with our allied political force, the Student Unification Party (SUP), as we join hands to demand that the government of Liberia to open the University of Liberia on the 13th of January 2025. This is not just a call for the reopening of a university; it is a call for human rights, academic freedom, social justice, and the future of thousand students who depend on this institution for their education, empowerment, and growth.

In times of struggle, unity among men of fortitude and tenacity who seek progress and justice is crucial. In furtherance, the SRP recognizes the critical role that the University of Liberia plays in shaping the future of our country. As such, we stand with SUP, our ally in the fight for academic freedom and educational well-being of youths, the future of thousand Liberians. We pledge to support SUP to the core in this struggle, with no regret!

Should the need arise, the SRP is fully prepared to mobilize the masses, protest, and advocate for the rights of every student at the University of Liberia. We are united in our demand for action from the Liberian government to prioritize education and open the university.

The closure of the University of Liberia has already inflicted great hardship on students, and our nation as a whole. It is time that the Liberian gov’t do the needful and stop the deliberate closure of school while their children are learning in foreign nations. We will continue to fight side-by-side, for the right revolutionary cause with SUP, rallying the voices of students, communities, and advocates, until the government responds with the action the students community so desperately needs.

Let it be known, the SRP stands committed to the cause of academic freedom. Our solidarity with SUP is unbending, despite our institutional differences. Together, we will ensure that the voices of Liberia’s students are heard, and we will demand that the University of Liberia reopens in stipulated time, for the present, and for the future of every Liberian students.

Long Live SRP!

Long live Massescracy!
