Congratulations to you, Cohort XII! I have never been this hopeful about the future of our dear country, Liberia. As Director General of the Civil Service Agency, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the President's Young Professionals Program, today I renewed my commitment to supporting the mentorship and professional development of Liberia's most valuable asset, the young people.

Earlier today, I had the privilege of officially launching the "Liberia Youth Environmental Challenge" and inspiring University students at it's inaugural debate on "Environmental Leadership and Career Development." I extend my profound gratitude to the Founder and Executive Director of the Liberia Youth EnvironmentalInitiative, Ms. Elizabeth D. Kamara for opportunity provided me to contribute to this noteworthy Initiative. Four Universities participated in the debate: African Methodist Episcopal University, Notre Dame, Cuttington University, and the University of Liberia.

The Director-General of the Civil Service Agency (CSA), Dr. Josiah F. Joekai, Jr., assisted by the Deputy Director-General for Human Resource Management and Policy, Mr. Edwin K. Jallah, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, convened a Special Session with Directors and Deputies of each Division on the quality of service delivery and their performances.

Each Division was afforded the opportunity to present a summary of their progress report and abreast Senior Management about their action plans. From identifying key points and mapping out actionable solutions, the discussions underscored our shared commitment to excellence. It is through such collaborative efforts that we can truly enhance the experiences for our stakeholders and civil servants. Together, we are building a more responsive and efficient public service.
