Radio Cape Palmas has received a vehicle and a Starlink internet system from the Harper District #1 Representative Hon. P. Mike Jurry, in a move aimed at strengthening the station's news gathering and information dissemination efforts across Maryland County.

Harper District Representative, Hon. P. Mike Jurry, has officially dedicated a newly constructed bridge connecting the communities of New Kru Town, Bassa, and Hoffman Station, marking the completion of a key infrastructure project aimed at improving transportation and access to essential services.

The bridge, constructed at a cost of more than US$10,000, was completed within the one-month timeframe announced during the groundbreaking ceremony and will now ease movement for thousands of residents across the three communities. Representative P. Mike Jurry has officially dedicated the newly established MC2 Community Bank in Central Harper, describing the institution as a major milestone in expanding financial services, creating jobs, and promoting economic development in Maryland County.

About sixty-nine(69) churches, the Disabled Community and vulnerable individuals including disadvantaged youths in Harper will benefit from a food assistance initiative undertaken by Hon. P. Mike Jurry. The office of the lawmaker through the church and other key organizations including the group of 77th will distribute bags of rice, cartoons of sardines and other assorted food items in the coming days.

About one thousand (1000) bags of 25kg rice, cartoons of Sadines and other assorted food items have been procured by Hon. Jurry and loaded on truck to be distributed to vulnerable residents. check comment section for more details

Hon. P Mike Jurry, Representative of Maryland County District one(1) on Wednesday July 29 begun an intensive Citizens engagement in Harper as part of his regular monthly District tour and community engagement.

The activities which started with media engagement with the county Journalists was followed by elaborated meetings with different groupings following the Harper District lawmaker arrival in the District on Wednesday.

Hon. Jurry was given a colorful welcome by supporters and met with the Christian community through a formal meeting arranged with the Christian Ministers Association and Full Gospel, the two notable Christian organizations in Harper and the Gas Retailers Association.

Discussions with the Gas Retailers focused on ways to empower them as being done with other groupings across the District.

Hon. Jurry however encouraged the Gas Retailers to establish themselves into an organization and partner with one another to easily attract his empowerment as they have requested.

He also vowed to provide financial grant if they can organize themselves and work together.
