Sets’abelo Sa Khotso – SSK is a Civil Society Organisation that was formed in August 2011 with the aim to unite and empower women in Lesotho through the provision of support, protection and education. This is its first step of action in this country to end the silence surrounding violence and also to involve government, civil society organizations and the business sector to broaden the impact of t

he campaign. They include women and men in media, technology, professions, churches and education. The aim is to challenge the perpetrators of violence to change their behaviour and encourage silent victims to speak out. Most importantly we hope the end result will engage men, women, youth and faith-based leaders in our communities to raise awareness and thus reduce the prevalence of violence and abuse.
