Today’s protest was dedicated to Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya who was kidnapped by Israel on the 27th of December 2024.

Dr. Abu Safiya has been subjected to solitary confinement, abuse, torture and medical neglect. He is not just a paediatrician but a representation of what Israel has been doing to the Gazan healthcare sector. All hospitals in Gaza have been bombed or attacked. Medical staff has been kidnapped and assassinated. Since the 7th of October 2023, Israel has unlawfully detained 446 Palestinian healthcare workers and killed at least 1571.

We demand the immediate release of Dr. Abu Safiya and all Palestinian healthcare workers.

Lëtz Act for Palestine joins the global campaign demanding the freedom of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya. Luxembourg stands with Dr. Abu Safiya and all Palestinian doctors.

Yesterday we joined Amnesty’s Amnesty Luxembourg protest in front of the CSSF to demand that the sale of Israel Bonds be stopped.

Today the Finance Minister Gilles Roth Gilles Roth announced that the approval of Israel Bonds will not be renewed this September. This marks a huge victory for the Palestinian solidarity movement in Luxembourg! ✊🇵🇸

It falls now to the Central Bank of Ireland to not approve or transfer the Israel Bonds prospectus. We stand in full support with our Irish comrades! IPSC
