🎶 Kinima returns to the stage for the Fête de la Musique with its musical troupe Open Hearts, joined by Ebrima and his African percussion ensemble, as well as the Home Sweet Home choir!

✨ New original songs await you, inspired by the musical traditions of West Africa, with lyrics sung notably in Wolof and Mandinka. We will also perform creations dedicated to Haiti, taking you on a musical journey through rhythms, stories, and human encounters. A warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits :)

We're happy to announce the next PhiloFolie discussion, which will take place on Sunday, June 7th at 4 PM in Parc Kaltreis (Bonnevoie) 🌳

This time, we'll share our thoughts on “What makes for a happy life?” 😊

We'll combine the discussion with a picnic. Feel free to bring along some juice, fruit, or a small snack if you'd like 🥭

Cette chanson est née d’un projet de solidarité porté par ATD Quart Monde et Kinima asbl, à travers des moments de création partagée où chacun a pu apporter sa voix, son vécu et sa sensibilité. 💬 Plus qu’un simple résultat artistique, ce projet est avant tout une aventure humaine et collective : un chemin parcouru ensemble, où la rencontre et le partage comptent autant que la chanson elle-même. 🎨 Cette chanson n’appartient à personne en particulier, parce qu’elle a été construite par une multitude de voix, d’idées et de parcours. Et c’est peut-être pour cela qu’elle peut appartenir un peu à tout le monde. 🌿

I only open when the light touches me.
They call me the daughter of the wind, though it is the sun that wakes me.

I am patient… I take my time before I bloom.
I grow slowly, quietly, faithful to the place that holds me.

I appear when winter is still fading,
a soft sign that life is returning.

Some say I was born from a tear of love.
