The e-Democracy Conference addresses from both the policy and technical perspectives, how the use of ICT can help improve transparency, accountability and effectiveness in the public institutions. At the conference, members of public institutions: Parliaments, Government, Official Journals, NGO’s; experts from international organizations and academics who work with information and communication te

chnologies in the legislative process have the opportunity to discuss about the use of ICT in public institutions, analyze good practices and learn from each other’s experiences. Dear e-Democracy supporters,

It is with great regret that we announce the postponement of the e-Democracy Conference 2013. Due to the many similar events scheduled in the following period we decided to postpone the Conference for spring 2014. We apologize for any inconvenience this postponement may cause you.

Enhancing the e-Democracy cause in the region and transferring knowledge and expertise still remain our priorities and we believe we have made the best decision in order to maintain the quality of the Conference and to meet the expectations of our participants.

Over the next few months, we will be announcing the new date for the e-Democracy Conference and we truly hope that you will be able to attend.

Sincerely,
The e-Democracy Conference Organization Board
