Hello everyone! It’s been a while 🤍
This coming November 28, 29 & 30, I’m incredibly excited to present my first Contemporary Textile Sculpture Art Exhibition.
The exhibition will feature textile artworks, textile-based wearable pieces, and contemporary textile sculpture artworks—each created through my exploration of fabric, texture, memory, emotions, and transformation.
And there is one more special element I’m especially excited to share with you.
If you asked me what I’m most passionate about in life, one of my answers would be this: transforming things that people consider useless or no longer valuable into something meaningful through art.
I believe there are so many emotions, thoughts, memories, and experiences that we carry deep inside us—things we cannot always express, release, or allow to explode into the real world.
I have so many of them within me.
And I believe you do too.
Through this exhibition, I want to transform those unspoken and unreleased emotions into something you can see, feel, and experience through art.
I’m incredibly excited to welcome you into this space—to invite you to experience the emotions and thoughts that sometimes cannot be put into words.
As little hints of what I’m creating for the exhibition, I’m sharing three moodboards with you.
There is still so much more to come. 🤍
Stay safe and healthy, guys.
See you soon…
With love,
Thiri Win Maung-Textile Artist
