Sharing the moments from the successful completion of our technical session on "Intellectual Property Rights (IPR): Plagiarism & Ethics" organized by IQAC, SPP College in association with Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC), SPP College Library, and the NDLI Club.

A major highlight of the day was the formal launching of the Research & Development (R&D) Cell Website! This digital initiative is a collaborative effort by the R&D Cell, Institutions’ Innovation Council (IIC), SPP College Library, and the NDLI Club to foster a robust research culture on our campus.

Heartfelt thanks to our resource person, Mr. Abhijit Borpuzari, for his insightful session that empowered our faculty and students with essential knowledge on academic integrity.

We are thrilled to share highlights from our recent workshop: "Raising Capital and Financial Management for Start-ups," organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in association with the SPP College Employees Cooperative Society Ltd. and the NDLI Club.

The session provided invaluable insights into the world of entrepreneurship, focusing on:
✅ Strategies for raising seed capital and funding.
✅ Effective financial planning and management for new ventures.
✅ Exploring government schemes and support systems for startups.

📝 Theme: Science and Technology in the Traditional Practices of Assamese Society

The programme also featured an informative documentary on C. V. Raman, the Raman Effect, and the significance of National Science Day, enriching students’ scientific understanding.

The chief speaker, Dr Umakananda Hazarika, shared valuable insights on shifting from job seekers to job creators in today’s competitive world.
