14. If the passengers belongings the value of which is not more than USD 500 to the extent that those are in accordance with the current law and regulations are believed by the Director General or the duty assigned customs officers to be for the personal use those shall be exampted from customs duties and taxes.
15. The following items of foreigners for the purpose of the investment in Myanmar with governmental organizations, private companies shall be exempted from customs duties and taxes for one year, if the written undertaking that those will be taken out with them within one year is presented.
Otherwise customs duties and taxes shall be imposed on those items.
