M.I.T specializes in quality control, welding, NDT (VT,MT,PT,UT, RT), corrosion control, maintenance and fit for service inspection of Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Piping, pipeline and Structures in industries of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Steel mill, Alcoholic Beverages and Heavy Industry and lifting and crane inspection. Recognized by Major Oil & Gas Operators, Heavy Industry in Myanmar
for lifting inspection and rigging slinging/crane operator training and inspection of pressure equipment manufacturing and welding engineering, in-service inspection of Process Piping, PSV testing witness and re certification, as well as quality control in major painting campaigns at offshore and onshore facilities. From 2019 M.I.T is split into two companies as M.I.T for Engineering/Inspection services and M.I.T Institute for training service. To date, M.I.T has already certified local welders of about 820 welders as per ASME IX, AWS D 1.1, trained 100 over welding inspectors, 100 over NDT Inspectors and 20 API inspectors. In training, M.I.T conducted qualified welders, AWS-CWI certified Welding Inspectors, welding trainer courses (for Yadana Welding School of Ministry of Education, supported by Total E&P Myanmar), API 510/570 Inspector exam preparation courses, Inspection Engineer course, Welding Engineer course, NDT (MT/PT/UT), Crane Operator certification/training, Rigging & Slinging training (Recognized by Total Myanmar & PCML), Painting Inspector trainings for Oil & Gas and Heavy Industry.
