Peace Corps Myanmar

Peace Corps Myanmar Myanmar is the 141st country to partner with the Peace Corps! We build bridges of friendship between the people of Myanmar and the United States.

In early 2013 the Union Government invited Peace Corps to Myanmar. A Country Agreement was concluded and officially announced by President Barack Obama on a visit to Myanmar in November 2014. We collaborate closely with the government and people of Myanmar to meet their needs in the education sector. The first group of Peace Corps Volunteers arrived in 2016 and began working in an English education assignment. Follow us as we establish a wonderful partnership with the people of Myanmar!
