【家居警惕】家電長開竟會自燃？🔥

内地近日發生一宗令人痛心的家居火警，一間裝修僅兩年的住宅，因即熱式飲水機冇拔插頭突然自燃，全屋嚴重燻黑。雖然火勢因室内氧氣耗盡自行熄滅，但兩隻貓不幸慘死。

💡點解電器唔拔插頭會咁危險？
好多電器雖然關咗機，但只要插頭仍在插座上，內部的變壓器（火牛）依然微弱通電。一旦遇到電壓波動或潮濕，就可能引發短路着火。所以外出或睡覺前，記得將非必要的電器插頭全部拔掉。

⚠三大高危電器，千奇唔好長開：
❌ 抽濕機／冷氣機：長開易令馬達過熱，濾網積塵吸濕後更可能導電短路，建議每兩星期清洗一次濾網。
❌ 手機充電頭／火牛：充電滿80%即可，唔好長期插住。若發現異常或有異味，須即時更換。
❌ 風筒／電熱水壺：功率很高，必須使用牆身獨立插座，唔好用拖板，周圍 1 米內切勿放置易燃雜物。

[Home Safety Alert] Appliances left plugged in can spontaneously catch fire?! 🔥

A heartbreaking house fire recently occurred in Mainland China. A home—renovated just two years ago—suffered severe smoke damage throughout after an instant hot water dispenser was left plugged in and spontaneously caught fire. While the flames eventually died out on their own due to a lack of oxygen in the sealed room, two cats tragically lost their lives.

💡 Why is it so dangerous to leave appliances plugged in?
Even when turned off, appliances left plugged into an outlet still draw a small, continuous electrical current through their internal power adapters. If exposed to voltage fluctuations or high humidity, this can trigger a short circuit and spark a fire. Before heading out or going to sleep, remember to unplug any non-essential electronics.

⚠️ Three high-risk appliances you should NEVER leave running continuously:
❌ Dehumidifiers / Air Conditioners: Running them non-stop can cause the motor to overheat. Dusty filters that absorb moisture can also conduct electricity and short-circuit. It’s best to clean filters every two weeks.
❌ Phone Chargers / Power Adapters: Unplug once your device reaches 80%—don’t leave chargers plugged into the wall permanently. Replace them immediately if they seem faulty or give off an unusual smell.
❌ Hairdryers / Electric Kettles: These high-power appliances must be plugged directly into a dedicated wall outlet rather than a power strip. Keep all flammable items at least one meter away.
