Nou Ti Librairie Nou Ti Librairie encourages community book exchange. As a requirement of our Leadership Course, we are expected to carry out a community project.

This book exchange box is the property of the public and is found at Mahebourg Waterfront (behind the statue of Swami Sivananda). Behind the setting up of Nou Ti Librarie is a team of inspired youngsters, concerned about people living in deprived areas and not having the required resources to educate themselves. Hence, being inspired by the Free Little Library Movement, we aim at bringing this inn

ovative concept of inspiring readers, and binding communities together through Nou Ti Librairie. Nou Ti Librairie encourages community book exchange where book lovers, passersby and visitors are free to drop a book or take one from the box. The aim is to :
�Provide 24/7 access to books
�Encourage a love for reading and tending to books
�Build stronger and more connected neighbourhood in amazing ways
�Encourage digital detoxing- taking a break from electronic devices

Moreover, through our e-platform (page and Instagram), you can request for books and we will try our best to find it for you.

Nou Ti Librairie was set up on 11 October 2020 but, sadly, here it is now; empty and vandalised.

If you have any suggestions please feel free to drop them.

P.s The aim was to give a second life to old books through a free exchange of books.
