Be informed that the ODeL students who are supposed to report for classes on 24th August 2026 are the continuing students only (Year 2 ODeL). ODeL Year 1 and Year 3 (Mature Entry) will be informed of their reporting dates when the selection list is released. In addition, those who reserved their places in year 1 ODeL or have switched from Face-to-Face to ODeL will report together with Year 1 and 3 students.

DCE and MCDE Explore Collaboration in Tertiary and Distance Education

Today, the management of Domasi College of Education (DCE) and the Malawi College of Distance Education (MCDE) held an interface meeting to explore opportunities for collaboration in programme delivery.

MCDE is currently in the process of expanding its mandate to offer tertiary-level programmes and is exploring opportunities to collaborate with DCE in this area. Such a partnership has the potential to facilitate the sharing of expertise, knowledge, experiences and resources between the two institutions, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of the quality and accessibility of distance education in Malawi.

The two institutions will continue engaging in further discussions to identify appropriate areas of collaboration and develop practical mechanisms for working together.
