Exciting times ahead! As we step into the 2026-2027 Inner Wheel year, we are thrilled to embrace our beautiful new international theme: Grow & Flourish! ✨

Just like a vibrant garden, our organisation thrives when we nurture every single branch, root, and blossom. This year, we are focusing our energy on six core motivational goals, beautifully represented by The Inner Wheel Forever Rose (our external impact) and The Margarette Golding Rose (our internal strength).

Sharing DC Saraswathy Veloo's inaugural message.

Dear Inner Wheel Members,

A warm welcome to the Inner Wheel year 2026–2027.

It is with immense gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility that I assume office as District Chairman for this term. I sincerely thank all the clubs and members for the trust and confidence placed in me and our team. My heartfelt appreciation also goes to the District Executive Committee, Vice-Chairman Lucy Barrock, Immediate Past District Chairman Jillian Estrop, Hon. Secretary Jaya R Samuel, Hon. Treasurer Catherine Govindarajoo, ISO Dr Sree Kala Nair, Editor Lena Chua and Webmaster Sumitra Sundram for joining hands, as we begin this exciting journey together.

I am deeply grateful to PDC Datin Sakunthalai, for introducing me to the wonderful world of Inner Wheel and to my mentor, IIWPBD Datin Seetha Lakshmi, whose guidance, wisdom, and encouragement have shaped me into the leader I am today. My sincere thanks to my home club, IWC Klang, for their unwavering support, and to PDC Padmini Menon and DEO Krishnaveni Mutthiah for providing me with opportunities to serve at the district level as District ISO and District Secretary respectively. These experiences have prepared me well for the responsibility I undertake today.

This year, our International Inner Wheel President, Ingelög Wyndham, has chosen the inspiring theme "Grow & Flourish". As we embrace this theme, let us remember that growth begins with strong roots. Let us honour and appreciate our senior members, strengthen our existing membership, and warmly welcome new members into our Inner Wheel family. By nurturing friendship, leadership, and service, we can build stronger clubs and a stronger district.

Our vision for this term is to strengthen membership, preserve the rich history of our clubs, provide leadership and skill-development opportunities, encourage greater collaboration among clubs and encouraging meaningful service projects and fellowship activities.

Together, we can create a vibrant and sustainable future for Inner Wheel.

As we embark on this new year, we look forward to working hand in hand with every member. Let us serve with passion, lead with purpose, and support one another in friendship.
