The Division is also simply known as BJIM which is an acronym for Bahagian Jaringan Industri dan Masyarakat. This website aims to provide you with information about BJIM and its activities. BJIM was formed on the 15th of February 2012 by the University Management Board of University Malaysia Pahang. Prior to the formation of BJIM the University has actively conducted communal and industrial activi
ties by its staff. The role of BJIM is to coordinate, strengthen and initiate activities of that nature by capitalizing the University-Industry Partnership and University-Community Relation platforms. In-line with the University Strategic Plan 2012, the role of BJIM is focus on three important activities, and they are, Academic-Industry Partnership, Graduate Employability and Knowledge Transfer Program. BJIM plays an important role to bridge the gap between academia and industry cooperation through various measures. Collaborate on industrial training for graduating students, initiate knowledge transfer programs, facilitiate in staff industrial attachment, getting industry experts in the teaching and learning activities at the university, as well as collaborate with industry, government agencies and NGOs to secure sponsorships for excellent students are amongst the activities run by its’ staff.
