Asia Medevac Services is born out of a desire to serve patients who are facing emergency situations requiring urgent evacauation by land or by air.

Sometimes, care begins with simply noticing someone.

An individual was found sitting alone outside a laundry shop by a team from Yayasan Suria Johor Bahru (YSJBC).

They noticed the person seemed unwell and emotionally disturbed, and decided not to leave them alone.

Our ambulance team was contacted to assist in bringing the individual to the hospital for a health assessment and further care 🚑

Not every emergency comes with sirens.
Sometimes, someone simply needs help, kindness, and another human being willing to care.

A small act of concern can make a big difference 🤝

Late in the middle of the night, our team received a message that appeared to be related to self-harm / su***de concerns.

Even at midnight, our call centre staff took it seriously and immediately reached out to every possible channel 🚑📞

Police, hospitals, and emergency contacts were contacted in hopes of locating the individual safely.

Thankfully, the authorities managed to reach the location safely. Although no one was found there in the end, we still believe it is always better to respond with care than to ignore a possible cry for help.

🛬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞: 𝐔.𝐒. 𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠

Following by a stroke, a 20-hour aeromedical journey was arranged to bring the patient from the United States to Taichung, crossing over the snow-covered mountains of Alaska along the way.

From leaving the hospital in the U.S. to arriving in Taichung and getting settled into the ward, our medical team stayed with him every step of the way.

As the aircraft passed over the frozen peaks of Alaska, the world outside was cold and unforgiving. Inside the cabin, however, everything was calm, steady, and closely monitored.

At the end of the journey, he was finally home, back in the place he had been longing for.

What was meant to be a romantic getaway for two — 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 𝐅𝐮𝐣𝐢, 𝐬𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝. 🗻✈️

At seven months pregnant, the mother suddenly began leaking amniotic fluid while they were in Japan. It was an urgent situation, yet still too early for delivery. Without hesitation, the couple made a firm decision: to return to Singapore, where they could continue care in a familiar environment and safely welcome their baby.

Our aeromedical team provided full support throughout the journey, with a pediatrician on board, ready to respond to any emergency at a moment’s notice. Every heartbeat mattered, every second is a race against the clock.

Thankfully, the little one held on, allowing the transfer to proceed smoothly. It wasn’t until the aircraft touched down in Singapore that the couple could finally breathe a sigh of relief, the tension they had carried throughout the journey finally easing.

This was more than just a flight from Japan to Singapore.
It was a mission defined by courage, trust, and care.
