Charting a Path Towards Excellence and Transformation at UiTM Sarawak

te, national, and international levels, fostering an ecosystem that nurtures excellence among our academics, administrators, support staff, students, and alumni. In this journey towards excellence, we aim to transform our institution into a leader in research, publications, and consulting while preparing our students holistically to possess a global mindset. It is imperative that our students graduate not only with knowledge but also with the skills and experiences necessary to navigate the complexities of the global landscape. Our goal is to achieve international recognition for our contributions and achievements, marking UiTM Sarawak as a distinguished name in higher education. Essential to this vision is the Quintuple Helix engagement model, which embodies our strategy of smart partnerships with Academia, Government, Industry, Community, and the Environment. These partnerships will enrich our academic programs and research initiatives, promoting collaborative ventures that stimulate innovative solutions to societal challenges. The future of higher education also increasingly leans towards hybrid and online modalities, allowing us to adapt to changing educational landscapes. We must embrace these methodologies to expand our reach and enhance learning opportunities. By 2028, we aim to increase the proportion of PhD holders within our academic community to 50%. This increase will empower our faculty to engage more deeply in research and teaching excellence. Moreover, we target an enrollment of 12,000 students, focusing on developing robust undergraduate and postgraduate programs while promoting lifelong learning and executive education. Flexible pathways such as credit transfers and inbound/outbound attachment programs with top-ranked universities and companies will create invaluable opportunities for our students, enhancing their educational experience and employability. To further bolster the quality of our educational offerings, we will enhance our Centre of Professional & Executive Education. This centre will provide enhanced executive education and short courses, leading to certification from industries, professional bodies, and international universities. We will also take significant steps to co-organise reputable international conferences with strategic partners, facilitating knowledge exchange among top-tier institutions and professional entities. Encouraging entrepreneurship among our students and graduates is a key focus area. By bolstering the role of our Career Development Centre and Entrepreneurship Centre, we aim to create an environment where aspiring entrepreneurs can flourish. This initiative is essential for individual success and the economic vitality of our state and nation. Improving our MyRA rating is another critical goal. Elevating our research profile will contribute significantly to our strategic positioning. We will engage more proactively with industries through our campus-based initiatives, alumni networks, government collaborations, and community projects, creating a dynamic environment ripe for innovation and growth. Enhancing our financial sustainability is paramount for realising our vision. We will actively explore avenues such as endowment funds, wakaf, zakat, and infaq to engage various stakeholders in supporting our initiatives. Additionally, introducing a comprehensive ecosystem of grants, incentives, and rewards for research and publications will incentivise excellence across all levels of the institution. We will intensify our collaborative teaching efforts, engaging industry experts and professionals from national and international arenas through blended and hybrid learning approaches. This strategy will ensure our students benefit from real-world insights and practices, further enriching their educational journeys. Finally, our ambition to achieve global prominence in higher education will be realised by empowering and strengthening our internationalisation activities. This will position UiTM Sarawak as an attractive institution for local and international students, fostering a vibrant academic community embodying diversity and inclusivity. 𝗕𝗘𝗬𝗢𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦: 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗠 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗞–𝗨𝗠𝗣 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗢 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗡𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗔

Alhamdulillah,

Yesterday afternoon, I had the opportunity to welcome and engage with a delegation from Universitas Muhammadiyah Pontianak (UMP), Indonesia, during a luncheon held at Bilik Perdana, UiTM Sarawak Branch, Samarahan Campus.

The UMP delegation was led by Dr. Linda Suwarni, Deputy Rector of UMP, together with 13 members of the delegation who are currently undertaking a benchmarking visit to UiTMCS.

I would like to express my highest appreciation to UMP for choosing UiTMCS as one of the destinations for their visit. Both institutions share strategic advantages as universities within the Borneo ecosystem, a region connected not only by geography but also by history, culture, communities and shared aspirations towards sustainable regional development.

I believe there is tremendous potential for collaboration between the two universities, particularly in the areas of research, community engagement, sustainable development, tourism, education, technology, entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, indigenous communities and cultural heritage preservation. The increasingly connected cities of Kuching and Kalimantan through regional networks also provide greater opportunities to strengthen academic and strategic collaboration.

Among the matters discussed, which received positive feedback, were the organisation of short-term courses, staff and student mobility, matching grants, high-impact publications, credit transfers, academic visits, as well as the implementation of joint community projects.

During their visit to UiTMCS, the UMP delegation was also briefed and taken on visits to the Halal Hub Laboratory and the Nusantara Islamic Gallery, Tun Abdul Razak Library (PTAR), as well as other facilities at UiTMCS Samarahan 2 Campus.

Indeed, the relationship between UiTMCS and UMP goes beyond conventional international collaboration. It reflects the spirit of regional neighbourliness, strengthened by shared opportunities and responsibilities. May this partnership serve as a catalyst for the development of a stronger education and research network within ASEAN, while further empowering higher education institutions to contribute meaningfully to the development of Borneo and the Nusantara region.

Alhamdulillah, yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the UiTM2030 Strategic Plan (2026–2030) Launching Ceremony, held at Dewan Anjung Sri Budiman, UiTM Shah Alam.

What made the occasion particularly meaningful for me was the opportunity to receive the UiTM2030 Strategic Plan Book on behalf of the UiTM Council of Rectors, in my capacity as Acting Chairman, from the Chairman of the UiTM Board of Directors, witnessed by the Vice Chancellor of UiTM Professor Datuk Ts. Dr. Shahrin bin Sahib @ Sahibuddin.

The presentation of this strategic document is more than just a symbolic gesture. It carries with it a trust and responsibility to ensure that the aspirations of UiTM2030 are translated into effective implementation across every campus and branch of the university.

The UiTM2030 Strategic Plan serves as an important guide in strengthening the university’s transformation agenda, enhancing institutional excellence, and ensuring that UiTM remains relevant, resilient and competitive in navigating the increasingly dynamic higher education landscape.

As the Rector of UiTM Sarawak Branch, I see this strategic plan as a compass that will guide us to move forward in a more structured, courageous and impactful manner, particularly in strengthening academic excellence, research, innovation, strategic partnerships and student development.

Insya-Allah, UiTM Sarawak Branch will continue to demonstrate its commitment and play an active role in realising the aspirations of UiTM2030, in line with the university’s vision of producing globally recognised Bumiputera professionals.

A trust has been entrusted.
A vision is now being set in motion.

𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗨𝗞𝗨: 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗢𝗠𝗬, 𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗢𝗠 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Alhamdulillah, yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) Sarawak Berita RTM Sarawak at my office at UiTM Cawangan Sarawak, Samarahan Campus 2. The interview was held to share my views on the proposed abolition of the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 (AUKU 1971), which has increasingly become a topic of discussion in recent times. My personal views focused on strengthening university autonomy and academic freedom, as well as outlining a possible direction for the future of higher education should AUKU 1971 ultimately be abolished.

AUKU 1971 was introduced as a legislative framework to regulate the establishment, administration and management of public universities in Malaysia. However, after more than five decades of implementation, various parties have expressed the view that the Act should either be abolished or comprehensively amended, as it may no longer fully align with the demands of a modern higher education ecosystem that emphasises autonomy, academic freedom, good governance and global competitiveness.

Among the key issues and challenges associated with AUKU is the erosion of university autonomy resulting from executive influence in the appointment of top institutional leadership, which may create room for political influence in university administration. In addition, restrictions on student freedom and disciplinary mechanisms have often been questioned, contributing to a perception of a culture of fear among students and limiting their willingness to actively engage in societal and national issues.

From the academic perspective, the freedom of expression and academic freedom of academics are still perceived by some to be constrained, potentially leading to a culture of self-censorship that could affect the advancement of knowledge, research and innovation. At the same time, excessive bureaucracy and dependence on government funding may limit universities’ ability to respond swiftly to changing industry needs and to generate financial resources in a more sustainable manner.

Therefore, in my view, to ensure that the country’s higher education system remains progressive, competitive and globally recognised—whether through the formulation of a new Act or a comprehensive amendment to AUKU—the following four key pillars should be implemented:

i. Independent Appointment Committee – To ensure that the appointment of Vice-Chancellors and members of University Boards of Directors is carried out transparently, professionally and based on merit, without political influence.

ii. Empowerment of Student Unions – To provide students with full autonomy in managing their associations, activities and finances, thereby fostering leadership development and a healthy democratic culture.

iii. Academic Freedom Charter – To provide legal protection for academics and researchers to express their views and publish scholarly findings without undue pressure or fear.

iv. Self-Sustaining Financial Model – To strengthen universities’ capacity to manage endowment funds, waqf, investments and strategic industry collaborations in order to reduce dependence on government allocations.

Overall, I believe that post-AUKU higher education reform should focus on strengthening institutional autonomy, academic freedom, student empowerment and the financial sustainability of universities. This is essential to ensure that institutions of higher learning in Malaysia can continue to serve as dynamic, innovative and internationally competitive centres of knowledge and excellence.

Alhamdulillah, last night I had the opportunity to attend the Grand Final and Prize-Giving Ceremony of the Premier of Sarawak Debate Challenge (PSDC) 2026, which was held in a prestigious setting at Dewan Jubli, UiTM Cawangan Sarawak, Samarahan Campus.

My highest appreciation goes to Angkatan Zaman Mansang Sarawak AZAM Sarawak for the kind invitation to the grand final, which saw the UiTMCS debate team emerge as champions after overcoming a strong challenge from Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus.

Congratulations and well done to the entire UiTM Cawangan Sarawak debate team on this remarkable achievement. This victory not only brings pride to the university, but also demonstrates the ability of UiTMCS students to argue critically, think strategically, and articulate their views with confidence and charisma.

The prize-giving ceremony was officiated by Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development Sarawak (MEITD), who represented the Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, Premier of Sarawak. Also in attendance were YB Datuk Abdullah bin Haji Saidol, Deputy Minister in the Premier of Sarawak’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information and UKAS); YBhg Datuk Haji Ismawi Ismuni, Chairman of AZAM Sarawak; YBhg Datuk Prof. Emeritus Dr. Khairuddin Ab. Hamid, Special Officer to MEITD and Deputy Dean of University of Technology Sarawak (UTS); YBhg Dato Ambrose Cheng, Press Secretary to the Premier of Sarawak; YBrs Ali Bin Suhaili, CEO of AZAM Sarawak; heads of departments, PSDC participants and coaches, as well as invited guests.

I would also like to express my appreciation to AZAM Sarawak for placing their trust in UiTMCS as a strategic venue partner for PSDC 2026. This collaboration goes far beyond the organisation of a debate competition. It serves as an important platform for nurturing a generation of young Sarawakians who are knowledgeable, confident in expressing their views, sharp in their thinking, mature in their arguments, and courageous enough to offer perspectives on issues that will shape the future of our state.

Indeed, PSDC 2026 carries significant strategic value in supporting Sarawak’s aspiration to become an advanced and high-income state by 2030. The participants were not only equipped with debating skills, but were also exposed to the state’s development agenda through the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030, which emphasises economic growth, social inclusivity and environmental sustainability.

As its inaugural edition, PSDC 2026 was a tremendous success, bringing together 18 debate teams from public and private higher education institutions across Sarawak, involving approximately 74 debaters. This participation clearly reflects the spirit of togetherness in strengthening intellectual culture, leadership and critical thinking among the younger generation of Sarawak.

Debate is not merely about who wins or loses. Debate builds the courage to speak, the sharpness to think, and the wisdom to respect differences in perspectives.

Congratulations once again to the UiTM Cawangan Sarawak debate team. Continue to pursue excellence and inspire the next generation of young thinkers in Sarawak!

WORKSHOP ON ACCELERATING JOURNAL ARTICLE WRITING WITH THE ETHICAL USE OF AI

Alhamdulillah, this morning I had the opportunity to attend the Workshop on Accelerating Journal Article Writing with the Ethical Use of AI, a two-day programme commencing today at the Main Seminar Room (BSU), UiTM Cawangan Sarawak, Samarahan Campus 2.

My sincere appreciation goes to the Mentor-Mentee Scholar (M2S) Programme Committee for the invitation and for organising this highly relevant workshop in response to the evolving needs of today’s academic landscape.

The workshop featured Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Ihsan bin Mohd Yassin, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, UiTM Shah Alam, who is also a University Fellow in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Department of Research and Innovation. He was specially invited to share his expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, AI Literacy, Prompt Engineering and Optimisation, thereby strengthening the knowledge and skills of our academic community in leveraging AI for scholarly writing.

I emphasised that in an increasingly fast-paced and dynamic research environment, AI should be viewed as an enabler, not a replacement for researchers. This technology can be utilised to generate and develop ideas, organise thoughts, refine writing, and assist in the manuscript review process. However, the accuracy of facts, strength of arguments, rigour in interpreting findings and the final conclusions remain the sole responsibility of the researcher.

More importantly, I also stressed that the use of AI in research must be grounded in ethics, integrity and responsibility, while safeguarding the originality of scholarly work, accuracy of sources, confidentiality, intellectual property and transparency in the use of technology.

The organisation of this workshop is aligned with the aspirations of UiTMCS to strengthen a culture of high-quality research, enhance publication productivity, and increase the visibility of research outcomes at both national and international levels.

I hope this workshop will serve as a catalyst for generating 300 to 500 quality writing and publication outputs, while contributing towards increased publication productivity among the academic community of UiTMCS.

Indeed, our goal is not merely to write faster, but to write better, think more critically, and publish more responsibly.

May this initiative continue to inspire a vibrant culture of knowledge, strengthen our research ecosystem, and nurture more confident and competent researchers who are ready to navigate the academic landscape in the era of artificial intelligence.

Alhamdulillah, yesterday afternoon, I had the opportunity to visit and spend some time with Mr. Muhd Adam bin J***y, a staff member of the Corporate Communications Unit (UKK), UiTM Sarawak Branch, at his residence in Kampung Haji Baki, Kuching.

Joining me on this visit were Pn. Siti Nur Aishah Jaafar, Chairperson of the UiTM Sarawak Women’s Association (PEWANI); Mr. Mohd Hasimi Abdullah, Senior Deputy Registrar; and Mr. Wan Fakhrurrazi Wan Dahalan, representing the Administration Division, as well as Mr. Mohammad Abang, representing the UiTM Sarawak Staff Club (KEKiTA).

We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Adam’s parents, who graciously received us and made our visit a pleasant and heartfelt one.

Mr. Adam was recently involved in a road accident which resulted in injuries to his knee and chin. This visit was made as a gesture of care and concern, as well as to extend the university’s moral support to him and his family as they navigate this challenging period.

During the visit, I also presented a small contribution and tokens of remembrance as a gesture of support and solidarity to Mr. Adam and his family. I hope that this brief visit brought a little joy, lifted his spirits and encouraged him to remain strong and resilient as he faces the challenges ahead.

Let us pray together that Mr. Adam will be blessed with a speedy recovery, that all his affairs will be eased, and that he will be granted the strength to regain his health and return to his duties as usual.

Indeed, the culture of caring, compassion and looking out for one another among members of the university community is a noble value that will continue to be nurtured and strengthened within the UiTM Sarawak Branch family.

Alhamdulillah, I had the opportunity to attend the Official Launch of Minggu Belia Sarawak 2026, held at Dewan Suarah Kota Samarahan.

One message that particularly resonated with me was the reminder by the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, that the quality of today’s youth will determine the future of Sarawak.

As someone in the field of higher education, I see first-hand the tremendous potential of our young people. They are not merely the inheritors of the future, they are the ones shaping the future that we are building today.

Our youth must have the courage to explore, embrace new opportunities, master emerging technologies and AI, and most importantly, uphold strong values, integrity and a sense of responsibility towards society.

We may not be able to predict how the world will change over the next 10 or 20 years. But we can choose to prepare a generation that is ready to embrace and navigate those changes.

To the young people of Sarawak, never be afraid to dream big. Never be afraid to try something new. And never think that you are too young to make a difference.

Sarawak’s future is not simply something that we will pass on to you. It is a future that you are already helping to build with us, today.

Keep moving forward. Keep learning. Keep daring. And most importantly, keep believing in your own potential.

Alhamdulillah, yesterday morning I had the opportunity to attend the Debate Workshop held in conjunction with the Premier of Sarawak Debate Challenge Cup 2026 at the Auditorium, Block B, UiTM Sarawak Branch, Samarahan 2 Campus. My highest appreciation goes to Angkatan Zaman Mansang (AZAM) Sarawak AZAM Sarawak for the invitation and trust extended to me to officiate the workshop.

Also present at the programme were YBrs. Mr. Ali Suhaili, Chief Executive Officer of AZAM Sarawak, as well as the participants, coaches, adjudicators and members of the organising committee.

I would like to express my appreciation to AZAM Sarawak for entrusting UiTM Sarawak Branch as a strategic partner in organising this competition. This strategic collaboration goes beyond a debate competition; it reflects our shared commitment to nurturing a generation of Sarawakian youth who are knowledgeable, confident, critical thinkers and capable of offering meaningful perspectives on issues that shape the future of the state.

Indeed, debate is not merely a platform to determine who wins or loses an argument. More importantly, it is an educational platform that develops participants’ ability to think systematically, evaluate issues based on facts, understand different perspectives, construct strong arguments and communicate ideas clearly and effectively.

The ability to express differing views in a mature, rational and respectful manner is an essential element in developing future leaders. Differences in opinion should be embraced through a culture of knowledge, open-mindedness and mutual respect.

I believe that the Premier of Sarawak Debate Challenge Cup 2026 is highly significant in supporting Sarawak’s aspiration to achieve the status of a developed and high-income state by 2030. Through this competition, participants are also exposed to the state’s development agenda through the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030, which emphasises economic growth, social inclusivity and environmental sustainability.

The uniqueness of this year’s competition is reflected in the organisation of a workshop that brings together participants, coaches, adjudicators and members of the organising committee to strengthen communication skills, analytical thinking and argumentation techniques. I hope the participants will make full use of this opportunity to enhance their case-building skills, develop effective argumentation strategies, master rebuttal techniques and strengthen their communication abilities.

This inaugural competition has successfully brought together 18 debate teams from various public and private higher education institutions, demonstrating a shared commitment to strengthening intellectual culture and leadership among the younger generation.

I would like to record my highest appreciation to AZAM Sarawak, the coaches, adjudicators, officers, volunteers and the entire organising committee for their dedication and commitment in ensuring the success of this programme.

May the experiences gained throughout this workshop and competition serve as valuable lessons for the participants in building self-confidence, broadening their perspectives and strengthening their capabilities as the voices of the future generation.

Medals and trophies may serve as symbols of achievement in a competition, but the knowledge, experiences, friendships, confidence and intellectual maturity gained throughout this journey are invaluable assets that will remain with them throughout their lives.

May the Premier of Sarawak Debate Challenge Cup continue to serve as a platform for nurturing a knowledgeable, capable and confident generation of Sarawakian youth who are ready to lead the future. Insya-Allah.

Alhamdulillah, petang semalam saya telah mengadakan sesi ‘Coffee & Catch-Up with Rector’, satu inisiatif yang diwujudkan bagi menyediakan ruang perbincangan yang santai, mesra dan terbuka antara Rektor dan warga universiti.

Bagi sesi kali ini, saya berpeluang bertemu dan berdialog bersama warga Bahagian Bendahari dan Perpustakaan Tun Abdul Razak (PTAR). Pelbagai perkara telah dikongsikan dan dibincangkan, termasuk usaha memperkukuh kecemerlangan perkhidmatan, memperkasakan budaya kerja serta meningkatkan keterlibatan warga dalam pelbagai aktiviti dan program universiti.

Antara perkara yang turut diberi perhatian ialah usaha untuk menyemarakkan aktiviti sukan dan membudayakan gaya hidup sihat dalam kalangan warga, di samping menggalakkan penganjuran aktiviti di peringkat bahagian yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan dan dinaik taraf menjadi program peringkat universiti.

Saya turut menggalakkan warga untuk memperluas keterlibatan dalam aktiviti dan program di luar universiti, tanggungjawab sosial korporat (CSR) serta penyertaan dalam pelbagai pertandingan anjuran agensi luar. Penglibatan sebegini bukan sahaja dapat meningkatkan kemahiran dan pengalaman warga, malah mampu menyerlahkan nama serta imej UiTM Cawangan Sarawak di peringkat yang lebih luas.

Saya merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada semua warga Bahagian Bendahari dan PTAR atas perkongsian idea, pandangan serta komitmen yang diberikan. Semoga sesi sebegini terus menjadi wadah untuk kita mendengar, berkongsi dan bersama-sama mencetuskan idea baharu demi memperkukuh kecemerlangan UiTM Cawangan Sarawak.

Alhamdulillah, saya berkesempatan menyempurnakan penyerahan surat pelantikan dan kenaikan pangkat kepada warga akademik UiTM Cawangan Sarawak. Antara penyerahan tersebut ialah surat pelantikan kepada Puan Noor Shima binti Antony, Pensyarah, Fakulti Pengurusan dan Perniagaan, sebagai Koordinator Pengurusan Kualiti UiTM Cawangan Sarawak bagi tempoh satu (1) tahun, berkuat kuasa mulai 1 Ogos 2026 hingga 31 Julai 2027. Pelantikan ini merupakan satu amanah dan kepercayaan dalam memperkukuh agenda pengurusan kualiti serta budaya penambahbaikan berterusan di UiTM Cawangan Sarawak.

Pada masa yang sama, saya turut merakamkan setinggi-tinggi tahniah kepada Dr. Saifulrizan bin Norizan, Pensyarah, Fakulti Perakaunan, atas kenaikan pangkat ke jawatan Pensyarah Kanan Gred DS13, yang berkuat kuasa mulai 11 Jun 2026. Kenaikan pangkat ini hadir bersama pencapaian beliau memperoleh Ijazah Doktor Falsafah (PhD) pada 5 Februari 2026, yang mencerminkan kesungguhan, komitmen serta kecemerlangan beliau dalam bidang akademik.

Sesungguhnya, setiap pelantikan dan kenaikan pangkat yang diterima merupakan pengiktirafan terhadap kepakaran, dedikasi dan sumbangan warga akademik kepada universiti. Kepercayaan yang diberikan kepada Puan Noor Shima dalam menggalas tanggungjawab pengurusan kualiti, serta pencapaian akademik Dr. Saifulrizan, diharapkan dapat menjadi pemangkin untuk terus memperkasa kecemerlangan akademik, meningkatkan kualiti penyampaian perkhidmatan serta menyumbang kepada pencapaian strategik UiTM Cawangan Sarawak.

Setinggi-tinggi tahniah dan syabas kepada Puan Noor Shima binti Antony dan Dr. Saifulrizan bin Norizan atas amanah serta pengiktirafan yang diterima. Semoga tanggungjawab yang digalas dapat dilaksanakan dengan penuh integriti, komitmen dan profesionalisme, sekali gus memberi impak yang bermakna kepada warga universiti dan masyarakat. Sekali lagi, tahniah dan selamat maju jaya. Semoga terus cemerlang dalam mengharumkan nama UiTM Cawangan Sarawak.
