Run by alumni, for alumni. YSEALI Council Of Malaysia (YCOM) is the alumni association of YSEALI in Malaysia. Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) was launched by the government of the United States in 2013 to strengthen a regional network of young leaders between the ages of 18 and 35 to contribute to their respective communities in Southeast Asia. YCOM is open to all current and pas
t participants of YSEALI programmes from Malaysia who had participated in any of the YSEALI programme themes such as civic engagement, environmental and natural resource management, entrepreneurship and economic development. Similar to YSEALI, YCOM celebrate the diversity among members and would like to invite you to be part of this growing network. Mission: Inspire young people to connect and contribute to youth development and social impact in Malaysia and Southeast Asia. Objectives
1. Provide a platform for all YSEALI programme alumni in Malaysia to engage with each other;
2. Promote engagements between government, private sector and civil society through policy advocacy and;
3. Encourage collaboration between youth in Malaysia and Southeast Asia to take collective action. Focus Areas
