Turning Sarawak's E-Waste into Value: The DNS Mission 🌍

​Every year, our communities generate thousands of tons of electronic waste. Without proper disposal, these hazardous materials pose a severe threat to our environment and public health. For nearly two decades, DNS Waste Management has been the trusted name in licensed scheduled waste management, ensuring safe logistics and strict compliance from Telok Melano to Lawas.

​We are thrilled to launch our new E-Waste Collection Centre concept store in Batu Kawa! Our goal is to make recycling effortless and rewarding for everyday Sarawakians. Simply bring us your outdated or broken tech, and we will evaluate and buy it back from you on the spot.

​This MJC Batu Kawa launch is the first step of a grander vision: establishing a network of collection centres across Sarawak that feeds into our upcoming full recovery plant. We are fully aligned with the Sarawak government’s PCDS 2030 to foster a sustainable, circular economy.

✨ E-Waste Coloring Contest Highlights ✨

Date: 18 April 2026
Location: DNS MJC E-Waste Collection Centre

Our very first E-Waste Theme Coloring Contest has successfully come to an end, filled with creativity, laughter, and meaningful learning for the kids 🎨♻️

Throughout the day, the children enjoyed expressing their imagination through coloring, learned about the importance of e-waste recycling, and participated in engaging activities that help build environmental awareness from a young age 🌍

As an additional mini activity, children who completed and submitted their coloring sheets early were invited to draw on our signing wall 🖊️✨ They freely expressed their imagination by drawing the things they love, turning the wall into a beautiful space full of creativity and joyful ideas.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Natural Resources & Environment Board - NREB Sarawak (NREB) for attending and supporting this meaningful initiative, and to our sponsor Yakult Malaysia (Yakult Kuching, Sarawak) for their generous contribution in making this event even more special 💚

A special thank you to Cikgu B**g and Cikgu Lee for your guidance and support throughout the event — your help ensured everything ran smoothly and successfully.

To all parents, thank you for your trust and strong support in joining our very first e-waste themed coloring contest. Your encouragement means a lot to us and to the children 💛

Today 10 March 2026 marks the official opening of the E-Waste Collection Centre at MJC ♻️

This initiative aims to provide the community with a proper and responsible channel to dispose of unwanted electronic waste. With the increasing use of electronic devices, proper e-waste management is essential to reduce environmental pollution and recover valuable recyclable materials.

We are proud to take this step towards promoting environmental responsibility and encouraging the public to practice sustainable recycling. Through collective effort and cooperation from the community, we can work together to protect our environment for future generations. Members of the public are welcome to bring your e-waste to the centre and support this green initiative. 🌏

We would also like to extend a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to our distinguished guests and representatives from NREB, DOE, MPP, MBKS, MPKS, MD Serian, MD Bau and others who came from near and far. Despite the rainy weather, we truly appreciate you taking the time to join us and be part of this meaningful occasion. Your presence made the event even more special. ☔
