◾Jobscope : involve in document scanning, processing hardcopy document into computer and other related task.
◾Skill : Candidates must be proficient in using computers and basic Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
◾Qualification : Candidates must possess at least a Diploma level qualification or above.
◾Job Type: Full-time
◾Schedule : Monday to Friday
◾Ability to commute/relocate to Petronas Geoscience Centre, Keramat, Kuala Lumpur.

◾Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

[CLEANING AND TREATMENT OF PRESERVED CORE]

Poster below shows the commoner specialist cleaning methods.

When necessary, miscible solvent flushing techniques are used to clean the core. The core was placed in a Hassler holder (seen in the poster below) and cold solvent was passed through it.

Cleansing is normally completed after three 200 ml alternating volumes of methanol and toluene. Under certain conditions, only one portion of each solvent will be used, while it is more normal to use at least three sections of each.

This is used in cores that are known to include mobile particles or where it is important to keep wettability by altering crude oil components in their current form. In some cases, the developed solvents must be quantitatively evaluated for water content and oil content and composition using chemical procedures.

In this cases, special dry methanol is utilised, and the toluene is substituted with a more efficient solvent such as CS2 (very dangerous) or dichloromethane.

There are various methods for cleaning core. The actual procedure will be determined by the qualities of the core. Usually the optimum method will be clear from pre-screening information on the core.
